Aiko's POV

Kylie Stewart has been a blessing and a curse to me. I have never felt powerless. I am not close to a demigod but I didn't know that activating her was a way for us to be together. Well, not just thru activating her. She was always there. The moment I saw her directing on-set was an awakening in it for myself.

I always got what I wanted. My good friend Mayer can attest to that. We worked well together when it comes to bringing behind the scene workers, such as directors, stunt doubles, producers, etc. into the spotlight and give them recognition for their work. As always she would introduce me to them and I do my work.

I didn't tell Kylie the true reason why I got kicked out of the German Times. The editor in chief thought that my articles about her was all biased because we were dating thus resulting for me losing my job.

All that being said, it was the greatest thing that happened to me. Kylie flew back to Germany to help me cope with me losing my job and that's just how our relationship got stronger.

I was woken by the intercom at my apartment I answered it and was told that a director wanted to speak with me. The moment that the receptionist said director I already knew that it was Kylie so I granted her access to come up to my penthouse.

I walked towards the door and as I opened it, she was there knelt on one knee holding the most precious ring that I have ever seen.
Kylie: Before you ask why I am here, I prepared a speech that I already forgot but here goes.

I was trying to hold back my tears as she started,
Kylie: I know that we've only dated for 5 months while I was in the middle of promoting the film, but within those 5 months I knew that I have found something special. You, Aiko Deville Francois, have shown me how my life as a director can be the most entertaining life even thru hardships. You are the one that gave me a reason to love what I do and know more of what I can do. You gave me a way to understand how life can be and that I wouldn't be alone. We have come this far and I most certainly cannot express how much I love you. So, all that being said, I mean I had a lot more but I am too nervous about this, will you marry me?

By the time that she ended her speech, I saw it. I saw the golden speck in her eyes it was faint but it held so much power that I was drawn to it. I was lost in my thoughts as she stood up from where she was.
Kylie: Verdammnt! I knew that this wouldn't go well, I should've waited for the right moment, we haven't seen each other for a long time and I-

I cut her rambling off and pulled her into a kiss. I poured every ounce of my love and trust on her through that kiss. As our lips parted we were both in tears.
Kylie: Sooooo?
Aiko: Oh! Yes! Yes, I will marry you, Kylie Stewart.

She took my hand and slipped the ring into my finger. I looked at it and I was dumbfounded. It was not just a ring it was the same ring that I was eyeing when we went on our first date.

Kylie: Franc.

I was pulled out of my trance when she started waving her hand in front of my face.
Kylie: Penny for your thoughts?
Aiko: Ich liebe dich.
Kylie: I love you too.

I pulled her into a soft kiss and pulled away before it got even more heated.
Kylie: I need your help with Gabby.
Aiko: What happened?
Kylie: She want to know how I was activated.
Aiko: Sweetheart, I know this is important to you too. But are you sure? If I tell her it's like reliving the pain you went through.
Kylie: Franc, I can handle it.

I smiled at her as I nodded. She pulled me out of our room and led me to the kitchen. Lil Stewart sat by the kitchen island, glass of wine in hand.
Aiko: Woah. Easy there Lil Stewart.
Gabby: I can handle my alcohol, Francois.
Aiko: Good pronunciation. I like you.

I heard Kylie scoff as she whispered something to her sister.
Gabby: So, Deville. Enlighten me.

Her eyes pierced into mine. She is definitely Kylie's sister. I rolled my eyes at her.
Kylie: Ey! What did I tell you about doing that?

I looked at her and her eyes glowed fiery gold. I am so screwed. I forgot about that.
Aiko: I'm sorry, Queen.

She smirked at me. That right there is what gets me going.
Gabby: So are you gonna tell me or nah?

Kylie: Franc, what is all this?
Aiko: Stew, I have to tell you something.
Kylie: What? Is something wrong? Are you having second thoughts?
Aiko: No! No, Baby. I am honored to marry someone like you. I have no doubts.
Kylie: Then what's up?

I pulled her to our bed and showed her a photo of the Elder's Ring.
Kylie: I've seen this before. Our parents mentioned something about ruins when Gabby and I were kids but they never said anything else apart from our ancestors.
Aiko: Before, I marry you I want you to know all about me.
Kylie: What does that have to do with the ruins?
Aiko: I'm a descendant of an Elder.
Kylie: Meaning?
Aiko: I'm a daughter of a demi-god.

She looked at me with an expressionless face. The hue of gold in her eyes were very intense that I was melting. I touched her and she was cold as ice.

Aiko: Baby, you are a demi-god yourself.
Kylie: No. I'm not. My parents are no gods.
Aiko: I want to activate you.
Kylie: What do you mean by that?
Aiko: It's only a matter of time before you crash withholding the power that you were born with.
Kylie: How do you even know this part about me? I never even knew anything like this about me.
Aiko: Baby, you know all about it at the back of your mind and it's only fair to explore and know more of who you are.
Kylie: You still haven't answered my question.
Aiko: I will show you if you let me.
Kylie: Please do so. I have a massive headache brewing.

I took her hand and led her to the door of our red room.
Kylie: If you want me, you didnt have to start with ancestral hierarchy, I will always be ready for you.
Aiko: You know, for a demi-god, you are always game.
Kylie: You know you like it.

Gabby: Okay, stop you dont have to include your sex life in the story.
Aiko: Oh, Lil Stewart. You don't want me to continue?
Gabby: Leave the sexy parts please.
Kylie: We're getting to the good part tho.
Aiko: So? You ready?

Gabby just rolled her eyes and nodded. I had to hold Kylie's hand to calm her nerves.
Kylie: You gotta stop doing that or your eyes won't come back.
Gabby: Just carry on with your story.

I opened the door to the room and she ran towards the ruin.
Aiko: Kylie! Wait up.

She couldn't hear me. She was almost to the middle of the Elder's Ring. She was starting to distort in my vision. The haze from the mist of the ruins was fogging my ability to stay aware of my surroundings until I heard the most antagonizing scream.

Aiko: Kylie! Where are you!
I was running. I ran as fast as I could towards her never ending shout of pain and suffering. I saw her laid very still in the middle of the ring. She was screaming and calling names that I have never heard before until one.

Kylie: ASTRAOIS! FATHER!

I didn't realize I was projecting until I felt someone shaking my arm.
Gabby: KYLIEEEE!
