The return of the Devil

There are still questions floating around my head.
Why did he save me?
Why did he care?
Why is he here?...
I need to rest for a week, but I want to fight.
*knock knock*
I opened the door and it was Revenant.
R:"Hope I'm not interrupting."
L:"You again. Just tell me what u want. Everybody here doesn't trust YOU!"
R:"Heh, oh yeah? Then why are they making me stay? They need me on the battlefield for action. After all, you guys are starting to bore me."

L:"Why at my door? U know what u did to me, Demonio!"
He shrugged his shoulders and turned his back to me.
Valkery was not so far from behind him.
V:"Take a step back, demon!"

R:"Remember birdie, she wouldn't be here without me..."
He went away and Valkery came in with a worried face
V:"Is it true?"
She asked whil closing the door.
L:"What?"
V:"About what he said. U wouldn't be here without him? What does he mean?"
L:"It's..."
I sat next to her and stroke her face.
L:"It's true... he s-.. he saved me."
V:"What..."
L:"I know."
V:"He is up to something, he is planning something... you can't trust him."
L:"BUT there must be answers!"
V:"I know and we don't have them and he wouldn't tell anyways."
L:*sigh*
I bite my nails
V:"Calm down. We will find it..."
L:"You're going to have get used to him. They are making him stay again."
She rolled her eyes and kissed my hands.
V:"Don't sweat it. He's not worth it."
L:"BUT-! What if... what if he changed. There is no answer too why all of a sudden he is nice to me, well maybe he changed."
V:"Are you out of your mind!? Loba ur not urself. Are u sure u have the right treatment? Did that explosion just make u different?
L:"You th- urgh... whatever..."
V:"I'm keeping my eye on you. I love you."
L:"Hmh.."
V:"Loba. I love you."
L:"Then believe me."
There was a moment of silence...
We stare at each other in fear.
V:"Loba... i- I don't want to leave u but... there is no way Revenant can just change. He is a killing machine, who killed ur parents!"

I look at the ground and feel anger inside me.

'Do not talk about my parents...'
I want to shout.
I can't...
My eyes tear up and I look again at her.
In a shaking but ranging anger voice, I start to talk
L:"Do not... talk about my parents like that."
V:"If u don't watch out with him, u might be next."
L:"He is nice for a reason. I will find it, and if I don't. Then I'll pay my life with it."
She saw that I was sirues.
V:"I have nothing to do with this anymore then."

'As u should...'
I thought to myself.
I regain my strength and wipe the tears off my face.
V:"Loba. Do u love me."
I didn't say anything.
V:"Are you... breaking up with me?  FOR JUST A FIGHT ABOUT YOURE ENEMIE!?"
*Scuffs* "IM WORRIED ABOUT U AND THIS IS WHAT I GET!?"

I show no reaction to her screaming at me like that..
In fact, I've never seen her like that.
I stay strong and kept silence
V:"If u are dead ore hurt from him. It's ur own fault."
Before she closed the door she turned her head one last time.
V:"Good luck..."
She closed the door and I slowly got down to the ground.

'I can't believe that just happened...'

R:"That was... hard."
'Revenant?'
I go to the window where his voice comes from
R:"Sorry I spied on u too..."
He was sitting on my roof.
I sit in the frame of the window.
R:"Why did u do that?"
His voice sounds calm and in a tone I've never heard before. It gave me a warm feeling.
L:"Because u saved me... for a reason. I want to know why, I thought u changed."
R:"Perhaps... but I'm not promising anything. Believe me, for me... this is also very strange to talk to u girlie."
It was silence for a moment
R:"Come up here."
L:"For w-"
R:"No questions. Just do it."
I throw my teleporting bracelet on top of my roof and see him sitting at the edge.

He pats next to him on the ground.
I sit next to him at a little distance.

L:"You don't say..." I said siruesly.
R:"Ugh..."

A moment of silence was there. We forgot we hated each other just for a second.
L:"Why did u save me?"
R:*Sigh* "Because...I can still use ur... help."
L:"You don't deserve my help..."
R:"U fight well in battles as far as I've seen."
L:"If ur only caring about kills and winning, then I've sacrificed my love life for nothing."
R:"No."
He turns his head to me and makes eye contact.
R:"Ur not wrong about me. I... I can change... BUT DONT THINK NOTHING OF IT! I'll always stay a killing machine just like your girlfriend said, oops! That's right... ur done with her."
L:"Spit it in my face... thanks."
R:"Why did u do that though. U too seemed as a close couple."
L:"She didn't trust me with u. I understand she wants to protect me but I made these claws myself."

We watched the sunset together...
Little did I know he slowly went closer next to me.
R:"You know... I'm proud of u."
He stood up and left in a dark trail of smoke like he always does.

I catch myself smiling afterwards
Eegh! Can't believe I did that...
