Universe 482: A Ori and Devil May Cry Story

Out in the vastness of space, lies a dark, red planet with an atmosphere as hot as molten lava. This planet was called Synthar. This planet is the home to many demons and foul creatures. In the plains of Synthar was a kingdom and it was ruled by non-other than Lord Raxarus. There was a tall, black castle in the center of this kingdom which housed the demon lord himself.

A bright blue light shoots down from the sky and into the castle courtyard. The light began to fade, revealing Lord Raxarus from within. The demon lord had just returned after the great purge on Nibel. Raxarus proceeded to walk his way through the castle halls. Waiting for him was a demon servant to greet him from his return.

Servant: It's good to see you again, my Lord.

Raxarus passes by the servant without acknowledgment. The servant quickly turns around and follows the demon lord.

Servant: I-I take it the mission was a success?

Raxarus: The expedition went according to plan, Mairemon. Are my chambers prepared as I requested?

Mairemon: Yes, my Lord! The slaves worked extra hard to meet your expectations!

Raxarus: Good, and is the Crone here?

Mairemon: Y-you mean the Great Witch?

Raxarus looks down at Mairemon.

Raxarus: Who else would I be referring to?

Mairemon trembles at the thought of the Great Witch. The Great Witch was the one who resurrected Raxarus from his previous life and gave him his powers and the appearance he currently possesses.

Mairemon: S-she hasn't shown up, as far as my knowledge, Sir.

Raxarus: Good. I'll have some time to bond and catch up with my daughter.

Mairemon mouth drops.

Mairemon: Does that mean... You have her, Sir!?

Raxarus: Like I said, Mairemon. The expedition was a success.

Mairemon got excited, knowing everything is going according to plan. The demon servant followed Raxarus into a chamber with an altar in the center. Raxarus walks up to the altar and held out his hand. With sheer force of will, Raxarus summons Sein in the palm of his hand. The demon lord places Sein into the altar and backs away. After placing away Sein, a blue force field surrounds the altar, keeping her from escaping. Raxarus stands and watches Sein for a while. As Sein was beginning to wake up, she lets out a burst of light inside the force field. Her light illuminates the entire room, to the point where it almost blinded Mairemon. Raxarus did not react to the sudden burst of light. Sein's light begins to dim.

Sein: Wh-what? Where am I?

Raxarus: You're finally awake. It's good to see you again, Daughter.

Sein: D-Dad, what did you do!?

Raxarus: I saved you from the tree's influence.

Sein: You... you killed them!

Sein began raising her voice.

Raxarus: Now Sei-

Sein: YOU MONSTER!!! YOU SLAUGHTERED INNOCENTS!!! CHILDREN!!!

Raxarus: I did what was necessary.

Sein: WHAT WAS NECESSARY!!!??? WHAT YOU DID WAS DISGUSTINGLY VILE!!!

Mairemon: Hey! Show some respect to our lord, you brat!

Sein once again lets out a burst of light due to anger. Mairemon covers his eyes after being blinded by the light.

Mairemon: Damn it!
