"THEM! IT'S THOSE TWO WHO POISONED THE JUDGE!" one of the sponsors of the event pointed their fingers at you and Kaveh. You stood there with no surprised look while Kaveh was completely panic struck.

The fact he could at least get out of the situation using his words but you did not let him speak. He had no idea what was even going on inside your head.

A bunch of Liyue millelith surrounded the two of you, pointing their spears at you two, threatening to surrender yourself.

You stood there with a highly annoyed face, arms crossed across your chest while Kaveh was close to losing his last piece of sanity. He was not calm at the slightest, while you stood there nonchalantly.

The captain of the squad came from behind the guards with his spear in his hand. Upon noticing you he instantly recognized who you were.

"Madam Y/n! M-My apologies— How dare you numskulls point at a senior civil departments officer?! " The Captain began to apologize and shout at his subordinates, instructing them to lower their weapons.

Kaveh finally had a sigh of relief. Now he understood why you were so confident. But boy was  he wrong....

"No Captain, they had all the rights by law to hold their spears at me. In fact, even you shouldn't be addressing me by 'madam' as I'm the so called criminal in the current situation." You said which again made Kaveh face palm at your honesty.

Looks like Kaveh was having a worse time than you as he had no power in the given situation.

Even the crowd was slightly taken aback by your statement.

" I would like to settle this matter diligently without using my title or power. So please, go on. For all I know, my hands are clean." You said nonchalantly. 

The captain gulped slightly. "It does not match your actions, ma— Y/n.. One of the judges was poisoned and the poison was found in your dish, technically proving the fact you were the criminal in this." The man said.

Right as you were about to answer, the crowd began making way for someone.

To your surprise a familiar face had arrived right on time. The purple long hair tied into two high twin tails decorated by  odango-style buns, her dark amethyst eye orbs was on you. Upon her arrival, the crowds gasped and the millelith all turned towards her, giving the greeting stance.

She looked at me with a smile. "Captain, Y/n is not guilty for this nor is her partner, Sir. Kaveh. I had been observing this event since the beginning. Prior to submitting the dishes, I even noticed the two taste their dishes." 

"Exactly! Goodness, isn't that what we've been trying to tell from the first Y/n?" Kaveh finally opened his mouth earning a death glare from you. Keqing slightly chuckled.

"L-Lady Yuheng! I see...but who would be the culprit then? We cannot leave this case like this!" The Captain insisted. 

Keqing thought for a moment. "We should try finding leads first but keep Y/n and sir. Kaveh out of this matter."
