"I guess that makes sense..." Senju squinted her eyes.

"They were probably really worried...? That's definitely it. I mean, Shinichiro heard about the incident and panicked, so there's no way he didn't call Hiromi about it to ask about you." Emma said.

"Hey, Mikey-kun..." Takemichi whispered.

"Yeah?" Mikey raised a brow.

"Do you think Y/n's family visited her at all...? According to Koko, he was at the hospital nearly all day and every day, but he never said anything about Y/n's family members visiting. He even asked me if they were aware of the incident." Takemichi spoke with a slightly worried expression.

"..."

Mikey stared at the ground with an unreadable expression before saying, "They probably didn't then."

"...Do you think Y/n knows?"

"Yeah. She definitely does."

Entering her house, Y/n didn't fail to notice the silence. She sighed and decided to head to the living room to watch cartoons.

Though, a few minutes later, she heard chattering and the front door open, so she turned her head to look into the hall.

There she watched as Hiromi walked past with Kurai following behind. Homura then appeared but instead of following the other two, he turned to enter the living room and when he saw Y/n, he grinned.

"Y/n! Did you have a good time while we were gone? I bet it was boring since I wasn't here?" Homura plopped beside her on the sofa.

"Huh? Gone? What do you mean?" Y/n blinked, her eyebrows shooting up.

"Hm? Did you forget or something?" Homura rose a brow.

Seeing the expression on her face, he understood that she was clearly confused and had no idea what had happened.

"All of us except you went on a trip around Japan. We really wanted you to come and I was even going to try convincing you, but I was told that you didn't want to go. Why didn't you want to come anyways?" Homura asked.

"Huh?" Y/n gaped.

"What are you talking about? A trip? With who? And I don't remember being told at all." She said.

"Huh?" Homura furrowed his brows.

"Uhhh...It was me, Kurai, Hiromi, mom, and dad who went, including one of mom's friends." He slowly said.

"Mom's friend? Who?" Y/n asked, pursing her lips as she stared at Homura intensely.

"Apparently we met him before but that was way long ago and you were only 3, so you might not remember. Anyways, he told us to call him Mukon." Homura replied.

The moment that man's name left Homura's mouth, Y/n felt her blood run cold as her eyes grew wide.

"Anyways, what'd you do while we were gone? Was it something that made you not want to join us on the trip?" Homura asked, clearly not noticing Y/n's expression.

"Huh?! Are you okay?!" Homura exclaimed as he pulled Y/n into a tight embrace.

"Yeah...! It wasn't too bad and no one died, so everything went great!" Y/n wheezed, finding it hard to breath as she struggled against the boy's grip.

"I'm sorry...I should've stayed with you like a responsible older brother would do. The trip is unimportant when it comes to comparing it to you and your health. I should've realized that. But I didn't. And now...you got hurt...You almost died..." Homura muttered, his eyes turning glossy.
