Purgazapton - A Dave and Bambi AU

Muko woke up with a pretty big gasp. Ever since day two, he had been knocked out after he was trying to escape from Expunged. He got knocked out by bumping pretty badly into a tree, and then his head fell on a log. Ouch. Anyways, he got up and then he remembered his hand eye switcheroo. Yeah, he couldn't see out of his left eye, and he couldn't feel his left hand. He sat back down mumbling over his injuries. It was only day four into Purgazapton so far. And it's already been hell. Like, one of the first things he saw when he woke up was an innocent squirrel getting gobbled up by a sentient mailbox. If that isn't scaring, then he doesn't know what is.

Dave, Bambi and Tristan on the other hand, refuse to give up hope. Doesn't matter what happens to them, doesn't matter what happens to their friends, they will stick together and defeat expunged together, as long as they are actually decent coders. "So, dad." Tristan started. "When are we gonna find Muko?" "I'm not too sure..." Dave replied. "But I sure do hope we find him soon..." "I agree." Bambi added. "That injury he got was pretty damn brutal." "Oh, don't remind me." Dave said back. "I don't even know how he'll live if that injury is permanent." "Yeah... I hope he'll somehow manage to make use of it." Bambi said.

Muko overheard what they were saying and crawled over some rubble. "G...G...Guys...?" Muko called out. Dave, Bambi and Tristan stopped in their tracks. "...I'm...I'm right here...!" Muko called out, a bit louder. "...Muko! We finally found you!!" Tristan said, running up to him and hugging him. "Y-Yeah, little dude... I'm still alive..." Muko said, with a heartwarming smile on his face. Dave and Bambi walked/rolled off to Muko and Tristan. "Thank goodness you're okay, Muko!" Dave said. "Same here." Bambi added. Exbungo, Diamond Man and Spike walked into the scene. Dave's fourth day in Purgazapton was slowly getting better and better. First, he got reunited with Muko, and now, a few of his students arrive out of nowhere?! What is going on?!

"Diamond Man! Spike! You're both alive!" Dave said, with open arms. He then proceeded to hug the two kids, with Exbungo lying his head on Dave's head. "...And... who is this guy?" Dave said, talking about Exbungo. "Oh! I'm Exbungo! And I'm just helping you guys out!" Exbungo said. "Oh. Anyways, where are the other students?" Dave asked. "Well... Ruby Man was taken away by a massive ball of redness... and... I don't know what happened to Playrobot..." Diamond Man said. "Oh dear me... that's not good at all!" Dave said, remorselessly. "Tell me about it..." Diamond Man replied, looking away. "Don't worry, Mr. Dave." Spike said. "We're gonna cling onto hope until the end of time." "...Heh... You have a really good point, Spike..." Muko said, using a bandana to cover his left eye/hand. "Darn right I am!" Spike said, proud.

"...Ngh, by the way... What... Is that thing...?" Muko said, pointing at a huge red floating ball in the sky. "...Oh my god. It can't be." Diamond Man said, looking shocked. "What do you mean?" Bambi asked Diamond Man. "Th-That has to be Ruby Man!!" Diamond Man replied, grabbing Bambi's arm and pointing at the circle. "It's him! It's him!! It's him!!!" Diamond Man was extremely happy, but! He can't celebrate just yet. He has to save Ruby Man before he can celebrate! "Guys! We gotta go in there!" Diamond Man said to everyone at the scene. "...Well... what are we... waiting for...?" Muko said. "Let's get up there!" Dave added. The friends zoomed to the circle, as a black figure with a glitchy, red block on it's right eye watched behind a tree.

"They'll find him eventually..." He said.
