Jake Pov.

It didn't meant to happen

I was now holding the unconscious body of Drew, he was getting more pale by a second, his body became colder.

Please Drew don't leave me...

We all went to hospital just few minutes after, Hailey tried to apologize for an hour now.
But how can I forgive her?
The nurses and doctors were running from room to room.

Tears were still falling from my eyes, I couldn't control it anymore. Suddenly a quiet voice spoke to Sean.
" You're Mr. Drews friend? I... Is he alright "

It was a little boy, I can tell he was scared of people so I stayed on my seat and didn't  say anything.

- I don't know little one. Let's hope so... - Sean smiled to the kid, surprising he sat right next to me   but didn't say a word.

"Psst Jake... "- Hailey said like she didn't want the kid to hear our conversation. Let's be real, I didn't want the conversation at the first place. -" This is the kid I was talking about ".

I quickly looked at the kid with pure shock, he was sobbing quietly, wiping his eyes with his sleeve.

" If you're still on this Hailey, let's make this clear. "- Sean sighed giving the little boy a cup of water. - " Drew was indeed teaching him violin, they are just close  since he doesn't have parents, and he kinda remind him of David. "

Hailey looked at the floor and in a second she just ran from the hospital  without a word.

"Did I made Mr. Drew problems? Is he here because of me? "- tears started to multiple in little ones eyes.
I sighed and pulled him for a hug.
He's still a kid, we can't just expect him to understand...

The kid started to  cry on my chest so I tried to comfort him by stroking his hair.

Sean sat next to me, we all were sick worried about Drew.

The boy quickly fall asleep on me, I just let him be.

After few hours, there were Drews dad, Henry, Liam and the music club, Hailey on the other hand still wasn't seen. I didn't care where was she right now.

Finally a doctor got out of the room and looked at us.
" I'm very sorry. We tried our best... We thought it was a simple panic attack, but   it wasn't. "

My vision was getting blurry by tears, I hugged the boy with shaking hands as I felt his tears on my shirt once again.

...

Everyone still couldn't believe what just happened.
I was sitting on the sofa in Drews house when his dad came next to me with water.
He didn't say a word, I can't imagine how's he feeling right now, he just lost two of his only sons, while his wife left him.

I decided I would stay with his dad as long as I could. He was like a family to me. I couldn't leave him alone.

....

It's been 2years since Drews death.
I were sitting next to his grave with the song he wrote in the day of the competition.

"Dad, we're getting home soon? "- I heard a voice next to me, I got up giving a hand to the boy.

After Drew's death I decided to adopt Oliver.

-Yeah... Let's go.

I'm so sorry Drew... I thought to myself , wiping a tear by my hand.
