I was just practicing my lighting, adjusting my colours, and practicing with rendering the skin. For the skin, I tried to go for of SamDoesArts's style (SamDoesArts is an amazing art YouTuber, by the way).
I was originally not gonna finish it, but I decided to finish it cause why not. I might do a background later, I dunno. I like this, but I also hate it at the same time—
I'm going through one of those times where I hate my art style and have been kinda comparing my art to other people's art— I've been having this happen to me for a couple months now. I hate a lot of my art, even the stuff I post on here. That's just how it is, and nothing will change my mind. Seeing other people's art that's so much better than mine inspires me to draw, but then when I finish my drawing and go back to look at whatever it was that inspired me, I find myself comparing my drawing to whatever inspired me and thinking how much better the thing that inspired me looks.
It's just something that happens to a lot of artists. And right now, I'm going through that—AGAIN. I mean, hey, at least it's not artblock or writer's block—
