We ran as fast as we could to the woods. The screeching from the bats could be heard coming closer to us. My heart was pounding and my legs were starting to hurt, but I ignored all of that and continued to run.
"There." I pointed at Skull Rock as we ran to it. We hid under the rock as we waited for the bat-like creatures to fly over us.
We stayed quiet as we listened carefully for the screeching to get away.
"Oh...okay." Hearing the screeching getting quieter, Robin began to slowly get up as we followed behind her. "That was close."
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Too close," Eddie added.
My eyes shifted to Steve who lost his balance. I quickly made my way over to him. "Steve, you okay?"
"I'm fine," Steve said but I was not convinced. "I'm fine."
"You're losing too much blood." I pointed out. "Sit, I'll help you." Steve sat down with a grunt, revealing the bite on his stomach. "Jeez, okay this is going to sting a bit." The plan was to wrap his stomach with my jacket, seeing as the jacket wasn't the right material for this I took off my tank top, leaving me only in my bra.
"Y/n, what are you doing?" Steve asked.
"Helping you." I tore off my tank top so it could fit his waist and positioned it close to the bites. "Ready?"
"Just do it," Steve answered as he held his hands up behind his head.
"Okay." I began to wrap Steve's waist as he groaned in pain. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay." He whispered.
With the last wrap, I tied it up. "I hope that it isn't too tight."
"It's fine." He answered. "Thanks."
"No problem." I smiled softly at him.
"Aren't you cold?" Steve asked in concern.
"I have my jacket," I answered. "I would have offered it to you, but I don't think that it would fit you," I said making Steve chuckle slightly.
"So, uh," Eddie said making us look at him. "this place is like Hawkins, but with monsters and nasty shit?"
"Pretty much," Nancy answered as I began to help Steve get up.
Eddie was about to take a step but I stopped him. "Watch out for the vines."
"It's all hive mind," Nancy added.
"It's all a what?" Eddie asked confused.
"All the creepy crawlies around here," Steve began to explain. "They're, like, one or something. Step on a vine, you're stepping on a bat, you're stepping on Vecna."
"Shit," Eddie muttered as he began to slowly walk down from the rock, trying not to touch any vines.
"But everything from our world is still here, right? Except for people?" Robin questioned.
"Yeah," I answered shortly.
"So, theoretically we could go to the police station and steal guns and grenades and whatever we need to blow up those bat things that are guarding the gate."
"I highly doubt the Hawkins PD has grenades, Robin," Steve said. "But guns, yeah, sure."
"We can go to my house for guns." I piped up.
"You, Y/n L/n, have guns, plural in your house?" Eddie asked.
"Full of surprises, isn't she?" Robin said with a smile.
