?Neteyam x reader?

Grandmas point of view before Y/N went out with Neteyam.

I opened my eyes in a second. Seeing the moon's shine for the first time in quite a time.
How long has it been? It feels like months.

I sat up stretching my back, before I heard someone enter our home. I laid back down,
opening my eyes slightly, only to see Y/N as a grown woman.

Wow..

Has it been that long..?

My granddaughter was like 10 the last time I saw her..

I watched her fix her hair. She smiled to herself.

Must be a boy.. I really hope it isnt that Sxwang Aonung. As she left the pod, I stood up when I was sure she wouldn't come
back.

I balanced myself by holding on to a chair. I haven't stood up in years..

I practiced walking for a few minutes, and got the hang of it fast.

Desperate for going out in the watters, I slowly left my home to walk around the village in hope no one would see me.

I looked at the beautiful sea, which was lit up with the moon and the stars. I sighed, tears formimg in my eyes. I've missed this so much..

My sons and daughter in laws death affected me that much. I sighed, before jumping in the water.

I opened my eyes once I dived in, and it was breath taking..

I missed this.

The water was shallow, so I stood on my feet. I made a calling noise, and Ilu came my way.

"Come my dears.." I said with a wide smile. They all surrounded me, and I started playing with them.

I used to be a Ilu riding teacher before I fell in a coma, and then Y/N took my place while I was away. I wonder how the children are doing too.

I started singing in Na'vi, making even more animals surround me. I was always so connected to the ocean.

I always prayed to Eywa when I die, I shall be reborn as one of these creatures..

I continued swimming for a few hours, before I heard my one and only Y/N.

I smiled at her confused state. "Grandma..?"
She said. I put my arms out, wanting her to come hug me.

I could see her tear up, before she quickly dived in the water. I don't think I've ever seen her swim so fast. The moment she stood up in the water she hugged me tightly.

"Y/N.."I said as I ran my fingers through her hair.

"Please don't tell me in dreaming again.." she said making me chuckle.

I pinched her hand and she got out of the hug hissing.

"Ouch! Your nails are as sharp as ever." She said with a smile.

"Am I the one dreaming Y/N? The last time I saw you, you were below my knees." I said smirking.

She rolled her eyes. "I wasn't, I was litteraly this tall." She said, before putting her hand to her waist, showing me that was her height.

"I know, I'm messing with you. The point is, you're beautiful." I told her, admiring her beauty.

"You haven't aged much yourself, grams.. Oh, I have so much to tell you!" Her ears twitched at the last part. The one thing I've missed the most was probably that darn ear twitch..

"How about, a cup of tea at our spot, and you can fill me in on everything!" I said putting a strand of hair behind her ears.

She quickly nodded her head with a wide grin, before swimming back to our home. I smiled to myself.

Whenever my son and his wife would argue, which was like every day, I would take Y/N to a spot on the beach, and we would drink tea.

Y/N didn't take them arguing very well, she stopped beliving in love, and thought that finding a mateing partner is rather a responsibility.  I always managed to keep her on her feet tho.

I wonder how she has been the past few years.

Once she prepared the tea, we went to our spot and immidietly started talking. She told me about everything that had happened.

The most interesting part tho was the past 2 months.

"So you're saying, Toruk'makto is on our island? I really missed out on a lot." I said wide eyed.

"Yea, he also came with his family. They're nice.." She said taking a sip of her tea, before smiling.

"They're nice huh?" I smirked at her and she glared me. "Tell me about them." I said and she sighed.

"Well there is Jake Sully, the great Toruk'Makto. Hes funny, and cool. Also handsome. There is his wife Neytiri, she is a little scary. There is Tuk, shes new in the class, and she's ADORABLE! There's Kiri, she reminds me of you actually. She has a strong connection to the ocean. There is Loak, hes like his dad. And hes the rebelious one." She talked about them blankly.

"They seem like a nice family.." I said and she nodded her head, before smiling again looking torwards the moon.

"There is also, Neteyam.." Her eyes started sparkling as she talked about him. "He has a pure soul. He's a warrior, but with a very strong heart.. He has been a great friend to me.. He showed me a possitive side to everything.. "

I smiled at her words. "Just a friend?" She looked back at me, with her ears twitching.

"Well, it may be more than a friend.. But he hasn't told me he loved me." Her ears lowered.

"Baby, it's not always about the words. His actions show the most. Your father used to tell your mother he loves her all the time, but then.." I decited to shut up. I cant say too much.

"But then..?"

" ... Tell me, when can I meet this Neteyam?"

I cant.. I can't let Y/N know he murdered her mother..
