"I stay home everyday. I don't do any at all but lay in bed." I say making my first point.
"So do I. All day everyday." He says agreeing with me.
"I do school work on weekends and do projects and essay's."
"Right that shit is low key boring. And on weekends too? You really gotta get out the house and touch some grass." He says.
I laugh but an unexpected snort comes out by accident. I slap my hand on my mouth feeling embarrassed but still laughing. Berlin laughs with me while putting his forehead on mines.
"Berlin! It's not funny. That actually hurt." I say to him.
"Nah that shit was hilarious." He continues to laugh.
I smile waiting for him to stop laughing. It felt good laughing with him even if I was the joke.
"Ok! Come on." I whined.
"Ight! Im good." He says
"I can't even state my points anymore cause' you're just going to laugh-" I say.
"No I'm not! No I'm not. Come on, I'm ready"
"It's your turn!" I smile.
"Uhhh.... My friends come over and we do the same thing everyday." He says
"What things do y'all do?"
"Uh we play smash bros., get high, and that's about it."
"I have only two friends. Two REAL friends."
"I only have one real friend."
"Name them right know!" I say jokingly
"Joe. He been my brother since middle school."
"I....." I say trying to find something else to say.
"I'm a nerd."
"I'm the popular guy"
I roll my eyes at him.
"See. Both of our lives are boring." He says
"Your life isn't boring, your just looking for a reason to say that." We both laugh. We continued talking. It felt like we known each other for the longest with the way we connected with everything. He stood in front of me with his hands on the countertop behind me. He was seriously close to me. Sometimes the tip of our noses would touch on accident when we laughed.
"What type of girls are you into?" I ask him but I don't know why I did. He licked his lips the answered.
"I'm uhh...into nice nerdy girls." He was staring deep into my soul. I pushed the middle of my glasses up and locked eyes with him.

"Nice nerdy girls...are you nice?" I asked
"Oh of course. I'm a gentleman." He answered
It was getting intense between us and the strong eye contact was hard to keep up with.
"I love this song" I said
"Is this one of your favorites?" He asked
I nodded. He took his hands off the counter and on to my waist and pulled me closer to him. I put my arms around his neck and once again our noses meant each other. We start dancing to the music. I didn't know what was happening tonight. I didn't think I would be dancing with Berlin at a party, let alone talking to him. I didn't even think I would be at this party, but I'm glad I am. Girls dream about being with Berlin. They are obsessed with him. I don't know how I could be so lucky. As we danced I pulled him into a hug. He was a tower over me while I was pretty short. He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist, while I wrapped mines around his neck tightly. It was a comfortable silence. It felt nice, I didn't want to let him go. For a while we just sat there embracing each other. It had really felt like we've known each other.
"I'm so glad you're here with me. This whole time that we've been talking, it feels like you really understand me." Berlin whispered in my ear.
I was flattered by him, I just didn't know what to say. I held him tightly in response. I enjoyed every part of this. He lifted his head from my neck and put his forehead on mines.
