Tadano-kun can't Communicate (Komi-san can't Communicate AU)

Yuiko: I wish you a Happy New Year.

Yuiko bows, then Komi next, and Akira last to bow.
They stop bowing as Yuiko stood up.

Yuiko: Shall we make the first shrine visit of the year?

Komi: Sure!

Both Komi and Akira nodded excitedly.

Komi: Woah... It's so pretty...

Komi looked amazed at the traditional japanese maroon kimono with flower patterns she borrowed from her grandma.
She had her hair tied up to a bun.

Yuiko: Yes, it looks good on you.

Akira: Look look! Dad brought it for me!

Akira also wear a traditional japanese pink kimono with colorful flower patterns, a light red ribbon on the back of her short hair.

Yuiko: You've got a splendid kimono.

Komi: It looks so pretty on you!

Akira: Ehe he he...

Next is Shuuko in a similar kimono as Akira but it's color is orange and the flower patterns is red and white.
She has a yellow flower in between her hair and her right ear.

Shuuko: I'm still looking cool!

Shuuko didn't seem to see her mother-in-law, daughter and niece waiting and saw them ready to leave on the open door.

Shuuko: Mother?

They all left and walk towards their first shrine to visit in the new year.
All the people around them look in awe and makes way for them as they walk.

Yuiko: ... You're convenient.

Komi: Eh? 'Convenient on what!?'

They drop their own 100 yen coin in the shrine offering box and rings the bell.
They bow two times before clapping their hands twice and pray.

Yuiko: Shouko.

Komi: Hm?

Yuiko: Did your wish from last year come true?

Komi: ... Yes.

Komi had a small smile on her face, remembering her time at the school with Tadano and her new friends.

Yuiko: That's good. Then, we must give our thanks.

After listening to her grandma, Komi then prays her thank yous and wishs.
After praying they did a one last bow.

Yuiko: Now let's visit the shrine office.

As they walk by, every laid their eyes upon Komi and had their hands together as if praying.

Everyone: 'A... A goddess has descended!'

They all had a great start to the New Year.

Yuiko: Pardon us.

Priest: Ah! Yuiko-san! You're just in time!

A Priest ( age 63) immediately greets them at the front door.

Priest: One of the part-time maidens caught a cold and couldn't come. And it's really busy right now, w-what do I do, Yuiko-sa... ...n?

The priest noticed Komi as she stared at him curiously.

Komi now wears a shrine maiden outfit after her grandma told her I'll be a good experience.

Komi: 'I can't believe Grandma just let's me go immediately... She probably saw me reliable enough to take care of myself from her...'
