Finally the solnaen stuff I always wanted to write—

Another day, nothing too unusual. Naen found himself pacing back and forth, irritating Celesteal nearby. He breaks the silence, catching Naen's attention.

"Could you stop pacing around like that?"

"I can't help it. I've been so occupied with my thoughts, I don't know what to do."

"Then, what could be troubling you at this time of day?"

"Solgon. I think I might be having feelings for him, I don't know what to do about it."

"Ah. If you need some advice, I could lend you som-"

"No. Just how will you tell me anything if you don't even have anyone of interest yourself?"

"First of all, rude. Second, you don't think I've seen enough to know what can be the best in situations like this?""

"I'm sorry, I prefer to trust those who have experience. I think I'll use my life savings to buy him a gift, maybe he'll like it"

"Now, you don't need to do that, I mean he's not that kind of guy to want gift-"

Naen shook his head and walked away from Celesteal, who only sighed as he watched him walk into the next room.

"I hope to the stars he doesn't do that. Or someone gives him proper advice"

Naen walks over to Anshine who seemed to be nearby.

"Hey"

"Oh hello Naen! How are you?"

"I don't know but I need some advice"

"About what?"

"Is it a good idea to spend my life savings for a gift for Solgon?"

"No. What makes you even want to do such thing?"

"I need to do something nice to Solgon, I think I'm falling for him"

"Ohhh! I don't think you need to spend so much for a gift! It's a dumb idea. Asking him out works, plus he won't reject you like that"

"But what if he does? I got to make this special!"

"Money doesn't need to be involved. Simplicity is better than going over with things or even spending so much! Cheap can be as good too."

"But just what if-"

"You know Solgon. He's not a guy who'd want so much, he'd appreciate you just asking him out, or give him something simple and cheap. It's value as an object isn't what matters, it's the thought behind it that's valuable"

"Really? Well you're right about that... I need to think about it first, and ask the others"

"Of course, take your time. It's not like Solgon is going anywhere"

Naen nodded gratefully and walked over to the other rooms, asking the others as he goes, getting the same answers. He sighed and settled back to his shop, falling asleep on his desk without realizing. Naen felt someone tapping his shoulder and woke up, raising his head to see who it was.

"Solgon...?"

"Wake up sleepyhead, you slept on your desk again"

"Oh... Sorry about that, I guess I was tired from walking around all day"

"Why were you walking around in the first place?"

"Uh... I, uh"

"Tell me, I'm not going to judge you or anything, come on I'm your pal"

"I was asking the others for advice"

"For what?"

"... For you"

"Me? Why would you need advice about me?"

"I... I like you, and I didn't know what to do"

Solgon's symbol flickered, yet said nothing for a moment.

"You... Like me?"

"Look if you don't feel the same way it's fine, I tried to see if I could spend my life savings on a gift for you but the others said no but I was scared of just asking you out and-"

"And to that, I return the feelings. You need to chill, I don't really have interest in expensive things. I don't want you losing your wealth over me"

"You... Really like me too?"

"Of course! I've always liked you, but I was waiting for the right time to tell you, but now I think I don't need to wait any longer" Solgon said with a smile.

"I can't believe it... So do you want to go out on a date with me?"

"Of course, but don't go too crazy with money. Let's just go somewhere simple and eat, no need to get fancy"

"Alright! Do we go now? Or-"

"Tomorrow, you need some proper rest and it's getting dark, this desk isn't comfortable"

"Fine. But can you spend the night with me at least?"

"Yes, I'd love that"

Naen smiled as they headed back over to Naen's home, they huddled together in the bed due to it being mostly ideal for one person, Solgon didn't seem to mind. For a moment Naen looked over to Solgon as he slept, he looked peaceful and happy, as if having a dream. He smiles at that and drifts off to sleep, the next day they went to a park and sat at a bench, eating hotdogs and looking over to the wonderful gardens of that particular park, enjoying each other's time and presence, giving Naen peace from his troubled thoughts about Solgon. He didn't need to be so troubled, knowing he loves him just as he did towards him.
