Please Be IT (IT x reader)

October 1988 in Derry Maine

Bill rips a piece of paper out of his note book and starts folding it into a paper boat while his younger brother, Georgie , draws a smilely face on the window with his finger.

"Sure I won't get in trouble Bill" Georgie asks his older brother.

"Don't be a-a-a wuss" Bill stutters.
"I'd come with you if i weren't-*coughs* dying" Bill continues.

"*Sighs* You're not dying" says Georgie

"You didn't see the v-v-vomit coming out of my nose this morning"

"That's disgusting"

"Okay. Go get the wax" Bill tells his brother.

"In the cellar" he asks.

"You want it to f-float, don't you"

"Fine" Georgie says as he walks out of Bill's room.

Georgie walks down the stairs and sees his mom playing the piano in the dinning room . He makes it to the cellar door and stares at it with a worried expression. He sighs then opens the door. The old door creaks as he opens it. Georgie looks down the stairs scared from the noises below him. The walkie talkie goes off "Georgie" Bill's voice comes through "Hurry up". Georgie tries to turn the light on but it doesn't work. He the tells himself that he is brave to try to calm his nerves down. He walks down the stairs into the dark celler. He looks around it before looking for the golf wax. He finds the wax in between two weird looking, small statues. He turns around and sees "two glowing eyes". He grabs the flashlight next to him and turns it on. He shines the light to it and sees that it's just two lightbulbs. Thunder crashes. Georgie gets scared and starts running up the stairs saying "What was that? What's that? Oh jeez"

He makes it back to Bill's room with the wax and sits on his lap watching Bill put the wax on his boat.

"Alright" Bill says with a smile.
"There you go. S-s-she's all ready, Captain" Bill continues

"She" Georgie asks.

"You always call b-boats "she"" Bill says.

""She"" Georgie responds with a smile as he takes the yellow paper boat with his name on it.
"Thanks Billy" he says as he hugs his older brother.

Bill tickles his younger brother's sides. They both laugh. Georgie tells his brother he will see him later as he runs off with his paper boat. Georgie grabs his yellow rain coat and runs out the front door. He waves bye to Billy, Billy tells him to be careful over the walkie talkie as his little brother runs off in the rain chasing his paper boat. Georgie runs after his boat laughing. He ducks under a construction sign then stands back up hitting his head on the other one. He tries to get up as fast as he can but he was too late. The boat heads toward a drain. "No!No" Georgie yells as his paper boat that Bill made for him goes down the drain. "Bills gonna kill me". Just then a pair of yellow eyes apear in the drain. Georgie jumps back starlted by them.

"Hiya, Georgie" it says as it gets closer.

"What a nice boat. Do you want it back" it asks.

"Um, yes, please" Georgie responds.

"You look like a nice boy. I bet you have a lot of friends"

"Three, but my brother's my best best"

"Where is he" it asks.

"In bed. Sick" Georgie tells it.

"I bet I can cheer him up. I'll give him a balloon" it says while smiling.
"Do you wan't a balloon too, Georgie" it continues.

"I'm not supposed to take stuff from strangers" Georgie replies still scared at the fact he is talking to something in the drain.

"Oh...well im Pennywise the Dancing Clown" "Pennywise?" "Yes." "Meet Georgie." "Georgie, meet Pennywise."

Georgie chuckles in response.

"Now we aren't strangers, are we" Pennywise says.

An older woman comes out of her house to put up the blinds on her porch because of the wind and rain. She looks down and sees a little boy in a yellow rain coat looking in the sewer drain. She is confused but decides to go back inside.

"What are you doing in the sewer" Georgie asks.

"A storm blew me away" Pennywise says.
"Blew the whole circus away"
He then chuckles
"Can you smell the circus, Georgie" the clown asks.
"There's peanuts, cotton candy, hot dogs, aaaaaand..." it says weirdly.

"Popcorn" Georgie asks

"Popcorn! *chuckles* Is that your favorite" the clown asks.

"Uh-huh" the little boy says while nodding his head.

"Mine, too" Pennywise agrees while laughing.
"Because they pop. Pop, pop, pop.

Georgie giggles

"Pop, pop, pop"

"Pop" Georgie says laughing with the clown.

Pennywise stops laughing with a low growl. It makes Georgie stop too.

"I should get going now" Georgie says, about to get up and leave.

"Oh. W-without your boat" it asks while drooling.
"You don't wanna lose it, Georgie. Bill's gonna kill you"
"Here. Take it" "Take it, Georgie"

Georgie reaches his hand in a bit to try and grab the boat but the clown pulls it back a bit. Georgie puts his hand in a little further to try and grab it. Just then Pennywise grabs his arm, opens his mouth real wide, and bites down on the little boy's arm. Georgie screms for help trying to crawl away from the drain. Pennywise reaches his arm out of the drain and grabs Georgie's leg. Georgie gets pulled back he screams Billy then dissapears into the sewer drain. The older woman comes back outside and sees that the boy is gone but blood remains.

Thats the first chapter. It took me soooooo long to wright that :(
