Mated To The Rogue.

HELENA's POV

I'm an early morning person,even at home I woke up by 5am to go for run and waking up early is now part of me.

I woke up by 4am so as to go for my morning run before the training.I've missed the early morning run.

I put on shorts and a tank top Julie gave me and I pulled my hair in a string.I was ready to go I just have to tell Julie where I'm going but the issue is that I can't find her since I woke up so I just left.

I trail the route Julie brought me through yesterday and can hear people's voices.

I jogged a bit to get outside quickly only to find almost everybody jogging round the fortress-as I like to call it.Some in their wolf form,while some in their human form.Then James spotted me and came jogging.

"Did we disturb you.?,we are sorry,the training is still 45-50mins later." he tries to explain.

"No no,nobody disturbed me,I'm an early morning person too.,I like going for a jog,it wakes me up for the day.So what are you all doing out here."

"Wow,that's nice,we all go for run too before the general training it's a personal something tho." I can feel eyes on me I turned and saw Jayden I waved at him but he just turned around and left.disappointed.

"He's going to be fine don't worry..". James chuckled.We jogged side by side and continue our conversation. "...So I heard you can't fight but you wake up every morning to go for runs?,you are something Helena." He says amusingly.

"But I can defend my self well." I said proudly.

"We will see how you do on the field." He muttered silently that I barely catches on.

"I hear you.anyways How was the trip to my pack,how's my mom doing?." I change the topic and he fills me in as he continue jogging.

"You all know how it's done,choose a partner,fight in your human form then shift to fight in your wolves form when I tells you to.."

My mate addresses the crowd and my heart swell in pride for him.I'm proud to call him my mate even if he doesn't want me yet.

I didn't know rogues are this large in numbers,they are nothing less that hundred.They will be able to take down any pack effortlessly except from the celestial pack tho.They are the largest pack.

"Why don't we partner,?...you see,I always partner with James because he's the best fighter along side with my brother but today I want to see what you can do." Julie said approaching me excitedly.

"Okay let's proceed." I smiled.

She let me attack and within a short period of time I was pinned to the ground.We fought in our human form for more than thirty minutes before I heard my mate shout "Shift!.

As tired as I shrewd my clothes and manage to call Larah forward and landed on paws. Julie gasped and few of the people too did. My mate also looked shocked.

"Did I do something wrong?,why are they all staring." Larah who i am now in contact with after I left the dungeon and had a meaningful rest last night asked.

"I'm also confused.Let me ask Julie." I replied my wolf and shifted back.

"Why are you all staring?Hope I haven't done anything wrong.?" I asked Julie worriedly when I shifted back.

"It's just that Jayden's eyes color and your wolf are the same...and We haven't seen a wolf with your color since our mom died.She's got the same color as yours except from the black colors on her paws and the Luna aura she carries with her." Julie explains leaving me all shock.

"Everyone go back to training now,fight in your wolf form." James said diverting everyone's attention from me and took the lead after Jayden left angrily.

Why he's pissed I don't know.That mate of mine is a hard nut to crack?.

I shifted to my wolf form and wrestle with Julie.She's lycan, her fur is pure white Either her dad or family relative is.

Her mom can't be since she said her mom and I share the same colour brown.I stare in admiration when she first shifted.

She gave me a wolfish grin and pinned me to the floor fast so many times.I thought they said lycans are weaker than us?..I shifted back and lie on my back.

"I'm tired Julie shift back,."she did.

"You should be glad that Jayden is not here,tired or not you have to fight till he says stop then we go running for one hour that's how everyone here become a good fighter." She sat down beside me both of us naked.Nudity is normal in our world but we picked up or clothes and started getting dress.

"Running for one hour?,that's cruel.But I can say it's worth it though." I look around.The way this wolves fought is nothing to joke about.They are good.

"What I observed is that you show your weakness so soon.,your strategy of attacking is the same and your moves are too predictable.Don't worry I will teach you something tomorrow morning before the general training.That means we have to wake up as early as 3am tomorrow." She said and raised her brow.

"I'm an early morning person so that shouldn't be a problem." I answered as a matter of fact.

"So why do you let even the old ones to train?,they won't be needing it." The old people here can't go into the field to fights so why stress them.

"Because they are rogues.."I focus on her and listen. "... what if we the warriors here go out for a rescue or to hunt and this place is been attacked before we comes back,everyone is going to be killed." She explained with a touch of sadness in her voice.

"Okay,So why are you people so relaxed and are not planning anything to stop the moonlight pack.?" I sat up almost the same time when James shouted stop and instructing them to go for the run.

"Get up,you don't want to be stomped on." She stands up and I followed her to the pavilion at the front of the fortress.We sat down and face the people jogging.

"To answer your question,there's no plan that I know of for now,and I don't think Jayden is planning something yet,because we don't know what those people's next move will be." She answered.

"I think we can actually find that out." I said.

"How".She won't really like this.

"Damion".
