The Goddess Of What??? (Loki fanfic)

Loki & Charlotte's POV

A few hours later, Charlotte wakes up to find Loki snoring beside her. She smiles to herself and decides to kill the remaining flight reading the magazines she picked up. She reads about the way Tony miraculously saved the US economy by implementing a "New Deal" similar to what Roosevelt did in the 1930. He single handily instigated a series of programs, public work projects, financial reforms, and regulations. After the depression in the early 2000, Stark focused on the "3 R's": relief for the unemployed and for the poor, recovery of the economy back to normal levels, and reform of the financial system to prevent a repeat depression. He essentially revamp the Democratic Party in the US. Charlotte was happy to see that even in this universe, Tony and Pepper ended up together and she was now FLOTUS. The magazine also had a few pages on Pepper's accomplishments as first lady. She was deeply involved in American Youth Congress and National Youth Administration. She implemented a few different programs like the Breakfast club and the "Let's Move!" initiative. And together they repealed the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy in the US military and came out publicly in favor of same-sex marriage. She found out that they had two children. A boy of 10 and a transgender daughter of 13. She couldn't believe that the world did not know Iron man or the Avengers, but this universe seemed to be thriving, anyway.

She was going to open the other magazine when the pilot announced that they were arriving in New York. She leans over to her husband and gently kisses his lips.

"Loki, sweetheart, we are landing in a few minutes." She brushes her hand through his hair and he groans. He grabs her hands and brings it to his lips.

"You should not wake me up like that in a public place." He murmurs in her ear in a very groggy but really sexy voice.

"Why?" she asks innocently. He places her hand on top of his crotch and groans again.

"Because we don't have time for that right now." He kisses her deeply but gets interrupted by the chime of the seat belt sign. Once the plane lands at LaGuardia. Loki teleports them to what should be the location of Stark tower. When they arrive, they notice that the building looks different. Gone is the landing pad and large Stark sign. Instead, it's a regular rectangular building with the name MetLife written on it.

"So I guess Stark never built his tower here. So, where should we go next?"

"Um, I'm not sure. I need a phone or a computer so I can google Strange." And suddenly both of them feel a peculiar change in the air.

"What's this? What are you doing!?" Loki and Charlotte look down to see that the sidewalk has started glowing beneath them. A circle of ancient symbols appears.

"This... isn't me." And poof, the circle swallows them both. They fall for what seems like forever before they land on a very polished floor. They both groan as Loki helps Charlotte stand.

"What the hell! Where are we?" they look around to see that they are in the lobby of an older looking foyer with a grand staircase.

"You are in the Sanctum Sanctorum," a woman's voice come from behind them. They turn around to see a small woman dressed in a royal blue robe, a red cape with gold details, arm straps and a belt. Around her neck was the Eye of Agamotto.

"What? Who are you?" Loki arms himself with his daggers and Charlotte's palms start to glow green.

"My name is Doctor Christine Palmer and I have a few questions for you, Asgardians."

"How do you...?" Charlotte looks over at Loki.

"I keep a watch list of individuals and beings from other realms that may be a threat to this world. And you two seem to be some of these beings."
