You walked back to the side of the base you were staying on and you walked into the rec room and plopped yourself on the couch that was there. You grabbed your computer and you logged onto a movie site and you streamed it on the tv there .

'' soap get your irish springs ass over here !.''
You shouted for soap as you got comfortable in your spot .
'' i'm coming dammit !.''
He said as he grabbed the snacks and he sat next to you . He set the snacks down between you and him and there were all sorts of stuff . There were skittles , popcorn , cookies and more.

You looked at him shocked and he gave you a grin .
" dude you're like the king of snacks. "
You said with a laugh as you went to hbo max to watch episode 7 of " the last of us ". Episode 6 had you in shambles and you couldn't wait to find out what happened in episode 7 .

Soap had watched the other episodes on his own terms and he likes the show just as much as you do. You got ready to turn it on until you and him got comfortable.

You wondered what the others were doing but there was a good chance they were in the rooms or simply doing work in general . Soap was like an older brother to you almost . It was cool being able to watch a show with someone and the best thing about it was that he also enjoyed the show as well .

After a few minutes into the episode you got up to the part where Ellie was running in a gym until her headphones got snagged by a girl .
" y know you kinda are like Ellie, same thing happened to you ."
Soap said .
" Well I guess so ."
You shrugged.

You watched in amazement as Ellie beat the shit out of the girl and it slipped to a cut scene of Ellie in an office with a black eye. You watched as a man walked in a sat at the desk .
" Just throw me in the hole ."
She shrugged .
" you've been there for three days, it doesn't do anything ".
The man spoke .

" Ellie you sent a girl to the infirmary with 18 stitches."
The man spoke as he looked at her .

You continued to watch the show and you looked at soap and saw him dozing off and you smacked his forehead lightly and he snapped awake .
" w-what ."
He said confused .
" Watch, look ."
You said while gesturing to the tv .

You giggled and watched and you got up to the scene where Ellie kissed her best friend.
" OH MY SHIT SHE KISSED HER BEST FRIEND!."
You were shocked and amazed.

" WAIT ARE THEY GONNA GET TOGETHER?."
soap also said while matching your energy. It was like you and soap were shipping it so hard.
You and him kept watching until you saw Price enter the room .

" alright time to train . You'll be with Ghost ."
Price said while pointing to you .
" awwww dam okay ."
You said bummed out and nodded . You paused the show and soap got up and he put his hand on your shoulder.
" We can finish later on ."
He smiled and you nodded .

You were lucky you were already in your training clothes so you just started heading out to the training area. You headed out to the training area and you saw GHost waiting there on the blue mat that was on the ground . you walked up to him and got in a ready stance .

'' ready to get your ass kicked ?.''
You said with a smirk .
'' doubt you can without proper determination .''
He said in a monotone voice .
'' my determination is to get you on the ground .''
You said as you looked him dead in the eyes .

Ghost gave you no warning and he went to throw a punch but you dodged it . you took a left hook at him but he grabbed your arm and twisted it causing you to wince . he let go of you and you fixed your arm and stretched it out . you let out a little huff and you dusted yourself off .

You looked at him for another way around him and you got an idea . you went to throw a punch and he went to grab you again but you ducked down and went between and under his legs and you kicked him in his back causing him to stumble forwards . he fell on his knees and quickly got up .

He took his leg and kicked you off your feet and you hit the ground with a thud . you groaned out in pain but you quickly shook it off and went to get up until he pinned you .
'' find a way to get me off .''
He spoke .
His grip tightened on you and you looked at him with sorry eyes and you kneed him hard in his stomach causing him to immediately let go of you . you took this as your chance and you got around him and put him in a choke hold .

He tried to get you off but you had a good hold on him . He used his hands and grabbed you and threw you off of him. He coughed and gasped for air as you were now off of him and he looked over and saw you lying on the ground not moving . He instantly went into panic mode and went over to you . He kneeled down to you and he shook you but you didnt move .

'' zero are you alright ?.''
He said worried .
'' y/n .''
He said he went to check your pulse and you grinned and you jumped at him .
'' RAHHHHHHHHHHH.''
You said with a smile .
'' WHOT THE FOCK .''
He shouted in fear .

'' oh my god you should've seen yourself .''
You laughed as you got up .
'' dont fucking do that again .''
He said sternly .
'' are you guys alright i heard shouting!.''
Soap said worried as he ran into the training area.
'' were fine .''
You laughed .
'' little shit scared me makin me think she was dead .''
Ghost huffed out angrily .

'' yeah i think thats enough training for today ...''
Soap said quietly .
'' then what am i supposed to do then ?.''
You said .
'' i dont know you'll find something i'm sure .''

'' we have a mission , gear up and head to laswells .''
Price said sternly as he interrupted .
Everyone nodded sternly and left the area .
'' there's something to do , go gear up into your stuff and get your laptop .''
Soap spoke and you nodded and ran out of the training room .

There was now a new mission . you wondered what it is but to price it seemed pretty damn urgent. You'll see soon what the fuss is about but would it be different ? you thought . Another day another mission , the dangers ahead awaited to be seen .
