"Deal With The Devil" (Bob Velseb X Reader)

Chapter 1.

Y/n POV:

"man.. I still gotta buy groceries for my aunt, I don't think my uncle will not be happy if I come home late again.." i said while rushing myself to the store, I'm pretty sure the market is closed by now, it's like 6:14 pm and it'll close by exactly at 6:15 pm!

Oh, by the way. I just moved into this creepy city 1 week ago, I have been looking for a job to be include. But to be honest, I haven't found one yet. Who thought that finding a job is very much hard right? I mean, it is pretty hard since I'm a adult. Now having  responsibility and stuff, to be honest. I'm more of an childish state, not being mature about shits. Always think everything as a joke, but man. I'll find my way somehow, I'll try to think straight.

Before i went to peek if the market is still open, a tall figure was standing next to the street to me. Breathing heavily and more like it was growling like a dog. I assume that he was a man, but there is something pretty creepy about this man. He's like wearing a devil costume, but it isn't Halloween yet. This man is very much weird, i mean. I won't judge, everyone has they're weird habits.

"i-I love your costume there fella!" I said, why did I even said that?! something is literally wrong with my mind, then something shivered from my spine. He was now looking straight at me, we were making an eye contact to each other. He's smile.. He's creepy smile is making me nervous, it's creepy. He smiled even more, was that a thanks? he thanked me by smiling? He got some creepy ways of thanking, but hey. As I said, I won't judge. Though it brought me a lil comfort from all of that, now giving him a goodbye wave and then went straightly to my house. It's like I wasn't caring on what might happen to this, but you know. He actually maked my night more peaceful.

"oh shot! I forgot about the groceries! Damn it!!" man, I freaking forgot the groceries. What should I do!? I stud from a light pose while trying to think of an excuse so that I couldn't get mad at, oh I know!

"I'll J-just tell them that I found a job and I i got late to even buy groceries!" thats fantastic! but wont they get suspicious? now im having second thoughts of this idea,i dont even know if its a good excuse tho.But its a worth to try..

15 mins later..

"shit.. this feels like a horror movie.. its like if i open that door ,something bad might happen to me.but damnit, i dont have any place to go" i then stepped on a woodtile, it creek a bit as i then lift my foot up. Not wanting to even continue to step on that side of the tile, but instead i went to the other side then thankfully it didn't make any sound. I continued to walk towards the door, getting my keys from inside my pocket. The keys was making jingle noises but i dont bothered about it, now unlocking the door. By the time the door was unlock, the lights of the house went on. And to my surprise, it was my uncle and aunt.

"where have you been young lady! Your 3 hours late, you didn't even bought groceries!?"  my uncle yelled, with the raspy deep voice of hes. Making me flinch by hes voice, looking down at him.

"kiel.. Dont yell at her, at least let her explain on why she is late.." my aunt said with her calm and soft voice of hers, thanks to my aunt. My uncle calmed down a bit while he was looking at me with a frown on hes face, i mean hes still mad at me but hes trying hes best to calm himself down.

" explain, NOW."  i shivered by that last sentence, i looked at him. Now explaining all of what I've been through, but you know, i lied. But its the only way to not get more anger, its my only way to get out of this type of situation.

"you finally got a job? Good riddance.."
My uncle sounded relieved, im glad thought hes been rough to me lately.

"congrats on getting a job, honey.." my aunt then sat up and went to hug me, opening my arms. Ready to get hugged by her,after hugging we were now at the kitchen talking and sipping on some tea, that includes also my aunt as well. But my uncle was nowhere to be found, i dont give a damn about him anyways.

"ill be going to sleep now auntie, im pretty much tired from all of that worked i did" i said, giving her a smile then went upstairs to my room. I cant believe that i lied to my own aunt! But its for my own good though, im sorry auntie. Im just doing this so uncle won't won't abuse me anymore.

"man.. Today was tough.. But you know, that man i Complimented.. Who was he? I didn't get a closer look at him on that time, i wish ill see him tomorrow.. " i said about to change my clothes, now brushing my teeth and making my hair. This is how i usually do when i get to sleep, its comfortable for me to do so tho. Its also my routine, this is very much normal to me.

"tomorrow, I'll make sure to find a job tomorrow. Ill make sure of it.." now laying down on bed, falling asleep slowly while looking up at the sky.

Tommorow will be a much more tougher.
