Skaikru Natblida--Commander Lexa

Wedding preparations have started so now everyone knew that Lexa and I are getting married and thankful everyone is fine with it obviously apart from a certain bitter bald man by the name of Titus.

Lexa and I talked about when we wanted it to happen and we agree it should happen after the ice nation threat was dealt with.

So everyone is sat in the throne room waiting for queen nia "Ambassadors of the Coalition, today we honour our covenant the clan that stands against one of us stands against us all"

"Bring in the accused"

Titus motions to the door and they open and queen nia is escorted to Lexa and pushed to her knees and Titus speaks up "Queen Nia of Azgeda has confessed to the destruction of Mt. Weather, resulting in the death of 49 members of Skaikru. Wanheda, what say you?"

"Skaikru demands justice"

Nia scoffs and looks away from Clarke back to Lexa "Ice Nation does not answer to this girl"

"Silence. The punishment for your crime is death. Do you have anything to say in your defense?"

"I need no defense she does today is judgement day I call for a vote of no confidence"

She looks around at the other ambassadors and Titus steps forward "Take this queen to meet her fate"

Two guards go to take her but an ambassador stands up "Not so fast commander no longer"

More and more Ambassadors stand up and chant commander no longer I told Lexa this would happen and I just hope she has a plan for it. The only person who stays sitting down is Clarke who seems frantic but Lexa is standing there calm and collected.

"She won't take our heads because she knows our armies will retaliate none of us here want war"

Lexa stands and walks over to stand in front of Nia "We both know what you want, Nia If you think me unfit to command, issue the challenge and let's get on with it"

What does she mean by challenge? single combat? This isnt a plan I'm okay with Nia smirks "Very well you are challenged"

"And I accept your challenge"

I close my eyes for second and grit my teeth together does she wish to be dead before we are even married "So be it single combat warrior against warrior to the death Queen Nia of Azgeda, who do you choose to be your champion?"

My eyes widen for a second but mask my expression quickly because knowing Lexa I have feeling I already know she isn't going to choose anyone "Heda, who will fight for you?"

Lexa turns and sits back on her throne she looks over to me for a second but I look away I'm not angry just slightly annoyed I know that she can win but the possibility of her getting hurt or worse dying it cause a uncomfortable feeling in my chest "I'm the Commander no one fights for me"

I walk back into the throne room after everyone left I want to speak to Lexa she's sitting on her throne speaking to the night bloods

I look over to my left and see Clarke and the bold man I walk over "You need to talk her out of it"

I look over to Lexa she is teaching the nightblood of the three pillars of being the commander she looks up and give me a small smile in which I return "No"

"What do you mean no? It is yours two faults she has been put in this position"

I roll my eyes and look away from Lexa to bald man "It is not me that is forcing people to question the commander's strength it is the whole 13th coalition idea that I voted against"
