Chapter 66: Renaissance

Jungkook, Yoohyeon and Soobin had to pick up their studies and finish their 3rd and 4th year to graduation. Han was in his last year, so he basically wasn't doing anything beside whining about how much studying he had.

The situation wasn't all colorful at the beginning when they came back to Seoul. Jungkook and Taehyung were shielded by everyone from all worries but of course they got to know everything from Jimin secretly. It still took them whole December to convince him, cause he was a worrywart. They had to text him each 3 hours or he was calling them on facetime all panicking.

So, as much as Jimin, Yeonjun, Soobin, Han, Minho, Dami and Yoohyeon - besides University issues and getting back to their normal life - were okay, it was harder for the rest. They didn't know where to go. How to act. They were uncomfortable.

New city. New life. Nothing familiar around...

But they were friends not bonded by the time - but by what they have been through, so with all the support Yoongi, Ren, Gahyeon, Wooyoung, San and Handong were safely closed inside all the chaos, love and understanding.

First of all Jennie rented the house for Handong, Gahyeon and Yoongi, Woosan and Ren. It was especially hard for Ren. He didn't know how to act thrown suddenly inside the family.

But Handong was so in love with him, Gahyeon was pouting about it half of the time. The shy, cute, brave, intelligent and polite boy for the first time in his life was spoiled to the core.

And Yoongi was just enjoying the attention that wasn't on him... Cause yeah - Jimin.

Jimin practically lived with them, helping them with everything. But mainly he was glued to Yoongi. Taking him for walks, for rides, to have sleepovers and dinners with his parents. Visit Taekook, Yeonbin, Minsung or Dami and Yoo. Being everywhere. Showing him what he never experienced - normal youth.

And when Jungkook, Taehyung and Hoseok said it is enough and he should start to think about himself and get back to dancing - Yoongi of course backed them up.

He wanted to see that...

At first Handong and Gahyeon from Seoul were trying to fix what they could and solve the company problems and he was helping with what he could. But then Namjoon convinced him to finally apply for University and Handong was more than fierce about not taking "no" from her son this time.

Wooyoung and San were quickly embraced by Jimin and Hoseok and pulled inside their Dancing group. But as they were already used to working in Mins' Corporation they were helping with what Gahyeon assigned to them, usually being involved in business trips to Daegu.

Ren and Dami started to work with Minji in MOI, learning how the organization was working and how it was managed. Ren being a Military Academy Graduate easily fitted there. And Dami - well she was Minji's right hand.

After more than a year of living together in a way it was strange for Red String to be divided into small groups so their group chat usually looked like a circus...

But definitely it was calmer this way, allowed them to be closer with their soulmates and wasn't at all changing the love and friendship they all shared.

The small details mattered... The scars they gained together mattered.

The future they planned mattered. They all wanted to go back to Daegu one day. After all of them will finish their studies.

They wanted to go back to the place where everything started.

And everything ended.

To restore the city and bring it to its full glory.
