Red String of Fate (Taekook AU)

After a hectic period of dance practices and preparing the performance Hoseok was again sitting with three of the other dancers in the cafeteria. He was looking around, but Minji was a rare guest during lunchtime in the cafeteria, so he will probably have to hunt her somewhere in her Department.

He didn't want her to get in trouble. Yet he would totally get it if she would decide to get in one... The problem was he didn't even know who that girl from the recording was... Maybe someone knew her.

He wanted to take out his phone when Minji appeared at the entrance. Her confident, flawless, balance walk was, again, something that caught his attention. She was walking like a model on a runway. She would be an incredible dancer...

She was going towards the counter not looking around so she probably wasn't looking for anybody. He bent a bit backwards on his chair and stretched his arm to stop her walk. She looked down at him.

'Hey, Minji! Join us!'

Minji looked at the three of Hoseok's friends. Jongho and the girl who was playing the main female dancer, nodded to her. The third guy said:

'Oh, the yesterday's girl.' he stretched his hand. 'I'm Yu-jun. This is my girlfriend Micha.'

'Yeah, I am terribly sorry for what happened.' Minji looked at the rest and squeezed his hand.

'I told you, it is okay, already.' Hoseok growled and pulled her to sit on the chair next to him.

'Yeah! Things like that happen in a crowd. We always need to be prepared.' Jongho said.

Hoseok looked at her with dark eyes, and opened his mouth, but she just gently stepped on his sneaker to be quiet.

'Hobi, saved the day, but I am impressed you didn't panic. It looked really natural in the end!' Micha said. Normally, people will be in a chaotic state of distraught in this situation. And your body withstood that bent!' she giggled.

'I could pull that out only because it was her.' Hoseok laughed.

Minji frowned.

'What do you mean?'

'I had the idea of this choreography because of you.' Hoseok said to her. 'The classy girl! When I caught you and saw you still having this calm face I decided to take the chance, so I spun you. And thankfully you played along.'

'Ohh! Now that you mentioned she really has a beautiful silhouette..' Micha said and glared at Hoseok. 'If you told me earlier I could observe more how she walks!'

'No, no! You were amazing there!' Minji said, denying with her hands. 'I don't know what he is talking about! I am just glad it didn't spoil your hard work, guys.'

'It's fine, it's fine.' Jongho said.

'And I didn't realise you would pull that out while singing!' she smiled. 'It was so energizing!' She looked at Hobi.

He shrugged.

'We usually do not sing, but sometimes it's fun.' he looked at her. 'Should I bring you something to eat?'

'Nah, it is okay. I just dropped by for a sandwich and I am going back.'

'Okay.' he said and stood up, to go to the counter.

Minji looked after him surprised. He was soo...

She felt more and more as if she wanted to be around him more.

He came back with a sandwich, gave it to Minji and took his coat from the chair.

'Guys, I will walk Minji to her classes, because people are studpid. See you in the studio in the evening!'
