Octonauts x Reader

         "We have a problem." Was the first thing Captain barnacles hear when Y/N radio in. His professionalism kicked in and he straightened up, before replying.

"What seems to be the problem Y/N?" Barnacles asked looking at the screen with you, Shellington and Kwazii on it.

"Will we're were just in this cave when I found a room full of Glow-worms and other fish too. But the cave there living in going to collapse on them soon!" They said turning the camera to face some blue lights.

Barnacles though for a sec then turned to Dashi who was also listening in.

"Dashi sound the octo-alert!" 

     "On it captain." She said reaching for the big orange button.

     "Octonauts to the HQ!" He ordered.

"What do we do now?" You asked.

"Probably go outside and wait for them." Shellington suggested.

"He's right we need to be out and ready for action!" Kwazii cheered.

"Ok then let's get going, hopefully they get here quickly." You say.

     Peso, and the Captain, was outside now, discussing the plan they had made up, for how they were to rescue the animals from the cave. Their idea was to use some fish tanks to deliver the animals safely to one of the Gups (and blankets if they had eyes that were sensitive to light.) and bring them to a new cave.

        It was going great at first, the place was being cleaned out well. That changed when it was the Glow-worms turn. Right as you were about to get the last worms the cavern started to crumble above you.

      The last few Glow-worms left where over in one of the corners. you ran over putting the tank down with a "clank" in front of them. Shellington and Kwazii were also still in here waiting by the exit for you.

     Once the glow-worms were In, you all started to make your way to the entrance. But as you were swimming across the body of water (you had you be extra careful with the tank,
which was lucky, air tie.) there was a huge cave in. You watched as the outlines of Barnacles and Peso at the end of the tunnel disappear.

    The cave was silence for a moment until Shellington yelled "Oh no, we're trapped!" And started to hyperventilate at the idea of being trapped down here.

You where also starting to breathe quicker now. "What-t do we do now?!" You say holding the glow-worms tier to your body.

Kwazii who was not to far up ahead of you tried to make light of the situation.  "Don't worry mateys, I know there must be a way out of dirty hole!"
He said "we can't lose hope now!"

You breathe in some air. "You're right Kwazii." You say Lowly.

"Oh come on, no need to sit around like a bunch of ducks! Let's get out of here." He told you swimming to the end of the water.

Then Captain barnacles started to call.

"Kwazii are you here? come in kwazii!" Barnacles yelled.

"We're here captain " kwazii told him.

While kwazii was talking to the captain, You where finding it hard to keep the Glow-worm tank above water.

"Y/N are you ok? that tank doesn't look too light." Shellington joked.

You look over at him and he seemed to have calmed down as well.

        "Tell me about it." You joked back at him.

"Here, I can me take it." He offered.

He swimed up to you and took it out of your arms. You looked at him, he hadn't done anything like this before.
May it was just the situation you all where in making him act a little weird.

       "Come on you two, get a move on." Kwazii said scarring you a little.

      Funny enough Shellington seemed to be struggling more with the tank then you where.

     All of you were now out, answering the Captain questions about the conditions you were all in.

"I'm pretty sure we're all fine, Captain." You say Lifting up your arms, checking for injuries.

"Well, It's a good thing that none of you are hurt!" Said Peso who was also on the call, worriedly.

"Yep, It's just the cave-in that's the problem." You say.

"Don't worry we'll find a way out of here!" Kwazii promised.

Just then, another cackling sound was felt, making you all hush, but this time nothing happened.

     "Kwazii, What's that sound?" Barnacles finally said over the radio.

            "Don't know captain." Kwazii replied to him.

          "I think it coming from down there!" Shellington pointed to the bottom of the pool.

       Walking over you sit on your keens and looked down like the first time you had seen it. But now it had a hole at the bottom.

     You think for a second, 'did the stress of an avalanche in the cave cussed a hole to open up to another cave?' You think.

       "It's kind of like an sump." Shellington shared.

      "Umm what's a sump?" Asked Kwazii.

     "Oh a sump is when a hole appears in a body of water, forcing the water that was in there to go down the new hole because of gravity. It's like when you take an bath and pull the plug of it, and all the water is drained." He explained.

        Kwazii smiled. You didn't like that, because whenever he did, it ends in someone crying or you having to put someone arm back in place.

       "I think I just found are ticket out." He vaguely explained.
