"(y/n)!" You heard your mother calling you from downstairs. "Hurry you're gonna be late for class!" 

"Coming." You calmly said as you continued packing the rest of the things you needed for the day. 

'Notebook, pencil case, hand sanitizers, gloves,' thinking as you zipped up your pencil case and placed it in your backpack. Turning around you looked into your room mirror, adjusting your school uniform and replacing a bandage on your cheek. 

It had been a month after the Eri mission and today was your first day back. Although you still had a bit of healing to go through your doctor reassured you that it was safe for you to go back to school. Dusting off the spare dust from your clothes, you placed an arm through your backpack strap and headed downstairs. 

"(y/n)! There's my little girl!" Your dad said as he gave you a big hug. 

"Dad... please-" you groaned as he let go and pulled open a chair for you to sit down. 

"(Y/n)! I made (Your favorite breakfast food)" Your mom said handing you a plate and placing a glass of (whatever beverage) in front of you. "Eat up! You need to for your first day back! I'm so excited for you my baby!" 

"Thanks mom." You gave her a small smile before slowly picking up the food in front of you to eat. You couldn't help but smile a bit inside to see that your parents were all lovey dovey in the morning, your mom pouring coffee for your dad while your dad was spreading butter on toast for you mom. Letting out a small chuckle you swallowed whatever you were chewing in your mouth and taking a drink from your glass. 

"I'm finished." You said getting up from your chair and picking up your plates to place them into the sink, running a bit of water, rinsing them gently under the water.  

"Alright (Y/n) be safe and good luck in school!" your mother said giving you a big hug and a small kiss on your cheek.

"Get to school safe and Good luck kiddo!" your dad said from the table. 

"Thanks." you gave them a small smile before slinging your backpack over your shoulder and heading over to the door. 

"Oh (Y/n)! You forgot-" You cut off your dad

"I didn't forget." You stated before the door shut behind you.

"She's growing up." Your mother said with a smile, wiping a spare tear from her eyes. 

"yeah she is."

The door quietly shut behind your back as you turned around.

"Hey."

You jolted a bit from your spot as you looked to see Shinso in front of you house, waiting for you.

"Jesus Christ-" You placed a hand on your beating heart, you fucking scared me." You closed your eyes as you tried to calm down the racing rhythm in your chest. 

"Sorry hehe." He said giving you a small closed smile, rubbing the back of his head. "Hey you-"

"Yeah.." You said, "Is it bad...?"

Shinso smiled softly, looking at you with his purple eyes sparkling a bit at the sight of you. "You look perfect." He placed a hand on your head and rubbed it gently. "I thought you'd never grow out of it."

"Hehe thanks." You said, suddenly feeling a weight off your shoulders. "Wait-"

"Lemme carry that for you." Shinso said as he grabbed your bag off of you and placed it on his shoulders. "I know you still have a bit of pain. You're not fully off the hook with me, so I got it don't worry." He said with a soft deep chuckle. 

"I'm fineeee." you playfully groaned, playfully hitting his arm, "It doesn't hurt that much."

"Yeah but that means it still hurts idiot." He flicked your forehead lightly. 

"You're just hurting me now-" (Y/n) deadpanned as Shinso just chuckled, ruffling her hair a little bit. (Y/n) smiled lightly until she felt a slight tug on her hand.

"Come on let's go we're gonna be late!" Shinso exclaimed as the purple haired boy started to drag the girl by her wrist. He gave her a small smirk before he turned his head as the girl looked at the back of his head, his hair bouncing slightly from the wind and from both of them running. She chuckled ever so quietly that Shinso could barely hear, making his heart race as the two of them continued to jog. 

Panting, the two of them barely made it to school. Shinso lifted himself up, looking at the entrance at the school and then turning to look at the girl who could barely catch her breath. She placed a hand under her chin, wiping the slight sweat that was starting to drip. "Damn I haven't ran in awhile, it kind of hurts." She huffed out in a breath. 

"Yeah you'll get used to it, sorry that I made you run." Shinso said as they both started to head towards class. Footsteps echoed through the empty hallways as they walked along each other side by side. "I'll see you at lunch?" He asked, the two of them stopping in front of a door. He turned to look at her one last time before he let her off to go. "Good luck in there if anything happens you know who to call."

"Yeah." (Y/n) said, rubbing the side of her arm, "Thanks for walking me Shinso." 

Shinso gave her a soft smile, his eyes looking at the girl he had grown up with. The memories of her as a child to now a mature, grown up teen in front of him. As a best friend he was proud. "Anytime." he said, "You should get going now, you don't want to be too late." He adjusted the strap of his backpack as he gave her one last hug before class. "I'll see you soon."

(Y/n) pat his back as she felt his grip loosen. "mm" she mumbled. Shinso let go and turned around to walk to his class. (Y/n) gulped slowly, inhaling a bit and letting out a big exhale before pushing the door open. 

The bright light of the classroom blinded her a bit and she blinked a few times to help her adjust. A couple gasps and a few mumbled filled the room as (Y/n) walked in. 

"It's good to see you again (Y/n)." 

(Y/n) gave a small smile. "It's good to see you too Aizawa." 

The old man ruffled her hair a bit before helping her get to her seat, which happened to be right next to Bakugo and Momo. As she walked past her past classmates gasped in wonder and awe, saying hello to her and saying that they missed her. 

"(Y/n) you-"

"yeah..." she mumbled, "I.. I thought it would be nice for a change..." 

Mina smiled widely as her, "You look perfect." She said.

"You look absolutely perfect." 

"Thanks guys." (Y/n)'s eyes welled up a bit as she let out a small laugh. 

"I'm happy to be back."
