"Mom, can I please go, there is a party at my friend's house" I lies, I don't really have friends but I've noticed my mom boyfriend, Frank is getting drunk again, never ending up well.

But when he gets like this I like to spend time on the beach, the beach makes me feel safe, feeling that nobody or anything ever gave me but the beach, if it was up to me, I'd stay like this forever.

"you can't ran away from your problems Olivia." She answers with a cold face

"Mom, please" I begs. Hoping she'll understand, but she never does.

"You have school tomorrow, you can't" she says

I nods while I was walks to my room, I sees Frank passed out on the coach, So I've decide I'll just snick out, no one will notice

I just want to get out of this place honestly.

"going somewhere?" I hear a male voice, I turns back and sees Frank standing right behind me, half of my body was already out of the window

He shoves me back in "I just-" I mumbles "just to hat??" He says before he slaps me

"I am sorry" I says as I start shaking "stop shaking like a little child, it's phatetic" he says and I stay quiet, not wanting to make things worse.

He got back to his coach, I knew if I was going to stay for another few minutes it's going to be worse.

I gets out of my window and walks to the beach, the walk to the bitch was peaceful, quite. It is pretty late so there are no people, just me, my headphones and the beautiful waves

I just sit there, crying, listening to music.
Listening to music was my escape, escape from reality and my shitty home.

I didn't check the weather and there is a hurricane, still better than home tho, so I stayed.

After a few minutes I notice two boys, I've seen them around sometimes because we go to the same school and we all were from the cut side of the island.

I watch them notice me and going to my direction.

"what are you doing here? It's 1 am and there's a hurricane." One of them asks

"I can ask you the same thing" I replied "were surfing" he answers "in the middle of a hurricane?" I asks confused

"John b, JJ are you coming?" I hear someone shouting from a car

"JJ we gotta go" the brunette one said "you want us to give you a ride to home? It's getting late" he asks me

"No I am fine, thank you" I gives him a smile "come on you can't stay here by yourself, it's dangerous"

"I can't go back home" I shakes my head "you wanna maybe come with us? You can stay at mine until you'd want to come back home" the brunette one offers

"It's really nice of you to offer but I really don't want to bother you, I am fine here and I'll be back home soon" I answers

"Come on" the blond one says while he takes my hands and lift me up

"Okay okay but only for tonight!" I says as I sees the blonde one smiling

"Who is she?" Their friend asks while we were getting in their car "wait what's your name?" The brunette one asked
