7: Coming Home

Then house security system aims at MK and Sandy. However, Mei quickly disarms it, "Yeah, my parents are a bit serious about the old security thing."

Security system VO: Welcome home, Mei.

Mei just nods as the doors opened to see random stuff (well to y/n it's random stuf-). MK comments, "This is amazing." Sandy asked, "Whoa. What is all this stuff?" Mei answers as the group follows her, "Ah, you know. Gifts, artifacts, offerings. Just stuff that's been in may family for-" Y/n tugs her sleeve as Mei groans, "Guys, wait!" Mei just holds Y/n's wrist as Sandy and MK were currently touching some of the stuff.

MK says, "If I had all this stuff, I don't even know what I would do. Sell it, probably." Sandy says, "Yeah, this stuff looks really great. Looks like a few good years, maybe. Centuries." Mei says, "Guys, stop! Hands in pockets now." MK and Sandy puts their hands in their pockets. Y/n was being dragged by Mei, "Follow me. You guys expect Y/n are such menaces, you know that?"

Mei leads the three on a tour of her house.

Mei: This is the garage filled with all the awesome things I am not allowed to drive. This is one of our many long hallways. We also have the Celestial Jade Garden, the room with the 30 centuries of antiques, Pool of a Thousand Tears, tea and snack room, and my bedroom. And this is the Dragon Claw Chamber.

MK stops, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold up." He approaches near the Dragon statue that has the Dragon Blade as he begins to geek about it, "Whoa! Now this thing is cool. So what's the dealing with this deal, yo?" Mei explains, "That's the sword of my great-great-great times a thousand great-grandfather, the Dragon of the West. Legends say that my grandfather imbued it with unimaginable power so that out clan would always have the strength of the dragon to protect them. It's true power will only show itself to those deemed worthy. A true member of our clan who's proven themselves strong enough to protect our family from the forces of evil. But I'm not allowed to touch it. Hey, anyone want to see the game room?" Y/n nods as she thinks, 'Dragon of the West... why does that name seem very familiar to me?'

MK shurgs, "Yeah." Sandy nods, "All right."

Now the group is inside the game room. MK was currently fooling around with the pinball machine in the game room. MK says, "A pinball machine? I've always wanted to try one of these."

Mei smiled as she says, "Okay. Guys I'll go get some sn-n-nacks." She begins to leave, "Okay, don't break anything while I'm gone!" Mei leaves as MK says, "Ha. "Don't break anything while I'm gone." Yeah right." Suddenly he breaks the pinball machine plunger. Y/n just winced at the machine as she looked away, 'Oh dear.'

MK found some duct tape to fix the pinball machine. Sandy says, "Careful, careful." The pinball machine breaks again as Y/n just facepalmed as MK exclaimed, "What?!" Sandy says, "We're going to need more tape." Y/n groans at the two.

Sandy says, "Maybe a little more tape?" MK says, "No, no, I broke it. Part of being a hero is owning up to your mistakes. Wish me luck." Y/n sighs as she watches Sandy follow MK. Y/n hums in thought as she follows the group.

Once they came. MK started to speak, "So, um, Mei, you know that really cool- Mei?" He notices the mess, "Mei, what happened?" Mei turns to him unfazed, "MK. Someone tried to steal the Dragon Sword. I stopped them with this, the Dragon Sword." MK looks in awe, "Whoa, the Dragon Sword. That's- Mei, I'm really glad you stopped them, but I have a confession to make. I accidentally--" Mei raised a brow, "Accidentally what?" MK looks away, "Accidentally... didn't know what was going on. Wow, that thing's amazing."

Y/n sighed with a facepalm. That's when Mr. Dragon coughed into his fist. Mei turns her head as the group sees her parents at the door, "Mom, Dad. You're back." Mrs. Dragon says, "We were on our way when we realized somebody forgot our luggage." MK backs away as he whispered to both Sandy and Y/n, "Um, Sandy, Y/n, we're you two kind of expecting Mei's parents to be literally two, big, scary dragons?" Y/n says with a deadpan look, "Really, MK?" Sandy looks away, "Um, no."

Mei says as she went up to her parents, "I can explain. Someone tried to steal the sword. I didn't let them. And I used this. I'm sorry." She looks away as Mr. Dragon says, "We saw the whole thing." "But I couldn't jus-" However, Mr. Dragon says with a proud smile, "And we're so proud of you." Mei turns to them confused, "Huh?"

Mr. Dragon says with a soft smile, "The Dragon Blade is the pride of our family heritage. It's power only shows itself to those that embrace their history. Their family." Mrs. Dragon says, "We may not always see eye-to-eye, and your friends are more unique than we expected, but you are a part of this family. And it is part of you. We love you." Mei smiled, "I love you too, Mom. Dad." The family hugs as MK joins them. Mei apologized, "I am sorry about the house, though."

Mrs. Dragon says, "What's important is that you are okay. Objects can be replaced." Mr. Dragon agrees, "Everything except my prized pinball machine. That is irreplaceable." MK and Y/n winced at that. 'Oh well.'
