Y/n wakes up in her room as she stayed silent to see or hear Luna or at least Bae He outside. But, she hears nothing. She stayed silent.

- First POV -

Ever since I came back... Bae He and Luna weren't there. Not even the weird and strange Elemental slimes that came.

I saw smoke... and fire... I don't know what happened...

How did it go when I was with Bae He and Luna?

- Flashback -

Y/n and Bae He along with Luna went into the cave of where Y/n was formally chained up. Bae He was in awe None the less, "Whoa! This is where you were born? It's a pretty cave! But there's nobody here." Luna meowed a bit while Bae He pats Luna's head. Y/n was sitting down as she says, "I only woke up here, but there's nothing here. We can't stay here. Let's go find another home." Bae He smiled, "Okay!"

The three leave back into the forest as they somehow found a home in the opening. Bae He was in more awe, "Wow! So pretty!" Luna jumps out of her arms as they purred a bit. Y/n just had a blank look.

Then it was the next day, the two sat on two flat rocks while Luna just began to sleep on Y/n's lap. Bae He says, "Well... I was told by my uncle and aunt that my parents died in an accident. But I don't know how or why." Y/n hums in thought for a bit, "We promise not to leave each other, Bae He?" Bae He smiled as she nods, "Yep! We're basically family. We are going to be together for ever and ever!" Y/n sighs as she headpats Bae He, 'What a sweet child.'

It was the 10th day. Luna was sleeping as Bae He held a stuffed animal version of y/n that y/n made for her whenever she had to go get food for Bae He.

"...You wished you had a heart, Y/n?" Asked an innocent Bae He. Y/n nods as Bae He hummed in thought, "Well have you ever heard that story before?" Y/n shakes her head as Bae He began to explain, "This story was told by my parents when I was young." Bae He softly holds the stuff animal of Y/n as she softly began the story:

There once was a puppet soldier

Whose greatest wish was to be with a ballerina doll forever and ever

But the soldier didn't have a heart

And didn't know where his feelings came from

One day, his owner didn't want him anymore

And threw him away into a fire

But even on the flames, his eyes never left the ballerina

The next day, the people found a tiny heart in the ashes left by the fire

Y/n frowns, "Maybe ashes in a shape of a heart... but Bae He... that's not a real heart." Y/n looks down as Bae He gently smiled, "Maybe... but what if... Hearts can be born from ashes?"

- Timeskip to present day where there's fire around the home, which somehow doesn't cause a forest fire -

Y/n comes to the forest as she saw red/orange flames and a lot of smoke. However she didn't see Luna, Elemental Slimes, either Bae He. She began to feel panic inside her chest and she went to Bae He's room to see no one. Just a lonely stuff animal of herself that somehow had a tear.

Y/n yelled in distress, "H-Hey, Bae He! Wh-what happened? S-stop hiding! Say something!!! Were all 2 years just a waste!" Y/n didn't get an answer as she shouted, "You promised me that we could be family along with Luna!" Y/n whispered as she went over to the stuffed version of herself in silence, 'How dare you leave me like this... in this part of the forest... and break your promise to me..." Y/n tried to hold back tears as she sniffs a bit, 'What a joke... it's just ashes... nothing left but ashes.'

Y/n felt one tear roll down a bit, 'The first human I trusted... is a young kind girl...' She then picks up the stuff animal verison of herself as she sat down. She then says to herself, 'Am I just going to burn to death in this forest... I don't think I have the mental capacity to get up and tell my friends...' Y/n closes her eyes waiting to be burned to death.

- End of Flashback -

I sit on the bed with a frown as I felt myself become a bit cold in the heart. I then turn my head as I saw that everything was back to normal. I stayed quiet as I looked to the stuff animal of herself. She sighs as she decides to just sit on the bed.
