"Just had a quick conversation with some guys, that's all. Anyway, is everyone else here? Are they ready?" Y/n asked, stepping off her bike.
"Yeah, everyone is accounted for and they're ready for your call." Tanaka nodded.
"Alright." Y/n said. "So...is he here?"
"No." Tanaka sighed.
"Jeez. You'd think he'd get here on time since he's the one who chose the location." Y/n clicked her tongue.
Observing the area, Y/n silently pursed her lips. This place certainly brought back unpleasant memories. There was blood. A lot of it. One corpse lay in a train, a gash on the person's chest as blood leaked out. Another soon-to-be corpse was kneeled on the ground, blood pooling on the ground as the body was impaled with a katana and a knife was embedded in the neck. This was that place.
The abandoned train tracks.
Hearing a chorus of footsteps, Y/n narrowed her eyes and raised her hand, signaling for her gang to line up. Once they did, Y/n turned, her eyes trained on the group that now stood just ahead.
"Well, well, well! I had my suspicions, but I still can't help but feel surprised!" A voice was heard as the group ahead made a pathway.
Beside Y/n, Tanaka glared at the person making their way up front.
"You know, your parents will be worried sick and certainly upset if they were to know about this whole ordeal, little Y/n." A man said as he now stood at the front of his group.
"Too bad they won't know shit because there won't be anyone to tell them." Y/n muttered.
"My, you've certainly grown since the last time I saw you. Were you 11? 12? Oh. No, it seems I made a mistake. That was the last time you saw me." Mukon laughed.
"I've been keeping an eye on you this whole time. I watched you grow. Even before that meeting at dinner, I watched your every move. You made me feel agitated sometimes, so I couldn't help but act so rashly. Remember that time I threw a knife at you and your little friend? What about that time I set that house on fire with you and two others in it? What about that time I pushed you onto the crosswalk?! Yet you're still here, alive! That makes me happy! I really do regret how awful I've been to you!"
"This guy is batshit crazy..." Tanaka said, scrunching up his face.
"I'm glad you decided to come to me! We finally get to talk! So, come! Let's settle things once and for all!" Mukon smirked, throwing his hands in the air.
Y/n grit her teeth as Mukon shouted, "Come at us, Chi No Bara!"
And with that, both gangs ran at each other, immediately tossing fists at one another and raising their legs for kicks. A few guys stumbled to the ground, their faces meeting the pavement as dust rose everywhere. The fight had only started, so there was no clear winner as both groups fought, determination fueling their actions.
"You'll take care of Mukon, right?" Tanaka asked as he stood beside Y/n.
"Yeah. You just make sure our group doesn't lose morale. Take down any guys who are giving them trouble." Y/n said.
"Alright. Good luck." Tanaka said as he and Y/n began walking in opposite directions.
"Right back at you." Y/n muttered.

Letting out a sigh, Hiromi settled onto a couch, her eyes shifting to look outside. The curtains were pulled to each side, allowing the sun to shine through the glass and into the room. A few cars sped by and people walked along the sidewalk, their chattering somewhat audible.
