"Huh?" Y/n raised a brow.
"Hm? Don't you know? I grew up with Akane. I'm practically her other half!" Mukon grinned.
"Well..."
The grin on the man's face slightly faltered and a cold gleam shone in his eyes as he stared at Y/n's figure.
"I was her other half. I thought we'd be together forever. I dedicated my life to making her happy, but...she just had to go and marry another man! She got a husband and they made a family! She made a family with someone that's not me! I'm happy that she's happy and as beautiful as ever, but I'm infuriated by her foolish decision!" Mukon exclaimed.
"What the..." Y/n muttered, her eyes widening as her mouth fell slightly agape.
"You...and my mom...? You...!" She slightly stammered, taking a few dazed steps back.
"Honestly, it's not just love I feel for her. It's a desire to be with her at all times. Every second I'm away from her, I feel a painful tugging at my heart that practically skins me alive! However..." Mukon said, a wide grin stretched on his face.
"...that feeling disappears when I look at you! You're what I wanted of Akane! Independent, strong, beautiful, but most importantly..."
Y/n pursed her lips as she narrowed her eyes at the man, listening to his rant while thoughts swarmed her head.
"...alone." Mukon sang.
"You have no one to depend on so there's a chance for me to swoop in and become that person for you to rely on! Don't misunderstand, I'm not interested in a romantic relationship with you. I merely want to satisfy my obsession with having you by my side."
"You're a fucking lunatic..." Y/n commented, her face scrunched up in distaste.
"I prefer the term extraordinary." Mukon chuckled.
"Well? What do you say?! We can rule everything and everyone! If you agree, you'll be able to save everyone. I promise I won't hurt the people you care for, although I will ask that you keep them at a respectable distance. I'm not a man who enjoys sharing too much."
"All I'm hearing is stupidity coming from your mouth. You're honestly pathetic. You say I'm alone yet here you are obsessing over the idea of having someone beside you forever and fully dependent on you. I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to be around you." Y/n said, wearing a disgusted expression.
"Hmm...I see." Mukon hummed, sporting an unsettling smile.
"So you're sick in the head too. Ah, that must be it! Maybe all those accidents really did affect you. I can't let you suffer from such plaguing thoughts! You can't turn out like Akane!" He muttered, one of his eyes slightly twitching.
Y/n's eyes widened as the man ran towards her, whipping out a switchblade.
"I have to stop them! I'll hurt you so you'll focus on that instead of your sickness!"

"What the hell is going on up there?" Tanaka furrowed his brows, glancing up at the train the gang leaders stood on.
"Really wish Y/n would just kick his ass already..." He muttered, punching a guy square in the face before elbowing an enemy approaching from behind.
"That bastard hurt me, but what really pisses me off is that he tried to hurt my sister...!" Tanaka muttered through gritted teeth as his eyes were slightly wide.
~Flashback~
Tanaka, 16, currently leaned against a wall in an alleyway, his hands shoved in the pockets of his jacket as a lollipop was placed in his mouth.
