Niara's life is filled with darkness, sorrow and misery, nothing compared to girls her age. She doesn't bother to hide it either but she isn't strong, resilient and flawless like every girl who's gone through a little trauma.
She's got a lot of flaws...

Others don't see life as a blessing. I do. But I just think it's the crazy things life presents to you on the way that may seem like the worst possible things but are really just there to help you grow.
For me, it's a blessing to be alive, even if it isn't a blessing that the people around me lack every feeling revolving around empathy, pity or love.
I don't tend to blame life itself but this world for its unjust and inequitable burdens that only know how to weigh my shoulders down with all its mass, but if you were to put cruelty, brutality and immorality in a person you'd come up with the devil -or- even Lucifer himself, someone I have grown to deeply despise in my life and will continue to - my father.
This man. The person who was supposed to teach me how to ride a bike. How to be a team player. Teach me how to play football. Teach me how to love, how to treat a woman right. Teach me how to be a gentleman, how to be a man of integrity, to stand up for my rights and those of others, how to take care of my future family.
But no. He could never, he was always invested in his company or the upcoming ball or meeting which could land him a large sum of money in a contract, and when he got this money, he didn't buy me those little bookmarks I used to keep as a collection, which he threw away, he would go out to clubs and spend them on numerous women.
No matter how unhealthy and hostile our relationship was, I would always stay awake on the couch until he came back, and every night that passed he always brought back home a different woman, sometimes two, he would always say,
"Son this is how you live life to the fullest, not by staying committed to your fool of a mother, you should spend your money and enjoy your life, bring multiple women of your choice home, enjoy your life, women don't need respect or a committed relationship ,they are meant for us men to use, only for us to use."
I never listened to whatever came out his mouth, I knew he was an idiotic sexist fool who loved nothing more than using woman to his own advantage. He was the wealthiest businessman in France and that seemed to gain him even more respect because he seemed to hold a powerful and formidable aura that made him superior than anyone else in the room, no matter who you were.
When my father had introduced me to his world of men who lavished money and women who thought the only way they could get to these men in was by using their bodies.
He introduced me as the heir to his company once he stepped down, I always knew the day would come but the day it came I couldn't help but hate my father even more for choosing how I would live my life resulting in me taking my dads' advice for once in my life not knowing it would become a regular thing, something my mother would've hated to see.
