Flower's pov

"Floweeerr!"

"Floweerrr, wake up!"

I rubbed my eyes, seeing my girlfriend sitting on top of my stomach. "Mm.. Lemme sleep, school is off today..." Rin pouted, "But it's snowing and cold, can't we cuddle for a bit?" I sighed and reluctantly agreed, gaining a blanket or two and a very happy Rin wrapped around me like a child hugging a teddy bear. Rin was a lot shorter than me, so it was easy for her to cling to me, come to think of it, I've never met someone taller than me, even people who are older are still shorter. (For this oneshot Flower is 15 and Rin is 14) Rin pulled out a marker from her pocket of her pajamas, she looked up at me and smiled nervously, "Hey Petals, can I draw on you?" "Hm?" "I've read about it online, drawing on your partner is apparently really romantic and it looks fun! Like a tattoo artist!" Her nervous demeanor quickly disappeared, returning to her usual cheerful behavior. "Of course." Rin was all smiles as soon as I responded.

She held my wrist up and started drawing, the marker lightly traversed my skin. My boney wrist twitched as she drew as it hit sensitive parts, I've been clean for a while, yet I still remember the pain whenever it's touched. Rin smiled as she pulled the marker up, capped it, and put it back in her pocket. She admired her work before showing me, she had drawn stars over my scars, connecting them to make constellations. I don't know how long I stared at my wrist, but I eventually couldn't stop my warm tears from streaming down my frozen face. "F-Flower?" Rin quickly tried to wipe my tears, her fingers brushed my eyes, soaking her fingers. "I-I'm sorry, I wanted to help let you accept your past, like accepting your scars instead of hiding them under those tight bandages all the time... I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry-" I mustered up the courage to cut her off, "I-It's fine, t-thank you... It's just, a-a lot to take in at once. I spoke through chocked sobs, trying to get a hold of myself. Rin hugged me as I wept, holding me tight as I let out years of built up hatred and emotions over the past I can't escape, the past that I need to learn to accept.
