Chapter 13: Tangled fate

"Yes, I am, and this lovely lady with you is......." Mr. Parker asked.

"My fiance. She is my fiance y/n. The project is about 1 week and I can't stay away from her for that long that's why I bought her with me." Taehyun said while slightly intertwining our fingers together.

"Oh, that's great that you brought your fiance. The King must be coming, let's wait. " He said.

As we waited for the king, we saw his steps coming closer unknowingly. My heartbeat started rapidly when I saw the king was coming.

I'm just feeling nervous over nothing. As was seen, the king came forward to us. I saw him, and he felt kinda familiar.

You saw a man in her 50s walk towards both you and Taehyun.

"Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you,u Mr. Kang." the King said, extending his hand toward him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I mean the king himself." Taehyun smiled at him. Now his eyes fall on mine. "And this Miss is?"

"Y/n my fiance," Taehyun said with a smile.

"Oh, how lovely it is that you bought your fiance. You both are indeed a lovely couple to be said." He said, and we smiled together.

"Thank you, King Choi," Taehyun said

"You know the main person for this project hasn't arrived yet." the king said.

"You mean to say the prince?" Taehyun said.

"Yess the prince. He is on his way." The king said.

"Umm.. If you don't mind, can I use the washroom?" I asked Mr, Parker

I don't know why it's me who wants to go to the toilet at the wrong time.

It's embarrassing.

"Oh yess Miss y/n. It's on the hallway left." He said, and I excused myself from there.

He said it's on left, and I could see so many left here. Which left he meant? Why is the palace so big?! Wait, what if I get lost? Ahh, that's bad.

I turned to the first left when I saw it lead to one giant door. Do they have such a big door for the washroom? Well, they are king, they might.

As I opened the door, my eyes widened to what was in front of me. It was a huge library.

For a moment, I forgot why I was here, and my eyes roamed to the big library here. I mean, it's so big, and it feels like the world all books are here.

As I was walking through the library looking amazed by the view of books when a certain part of the library fell into my eyes.

There was a title in that part name, "Special." which made me surprised what that these are those books that I read with soobin. All the books he and I recommended to each other were here.

Is it a coincidence? I mean, wow!!

But my eyes widened when I saw a book. A book of mine. "Raindrop," the book was centered.

How can all these be coincidences? I felt like all of these were memory parts.

I was about to pull my book from the shelf when. A voice stopped me!!

"Who are you?" The voice from my behind me was a very dear voice and memorable one. The voice I can never forget. This made me drop the book I was about to take.

"Are you perhaps lost?" That voice said, making me want to turn around and see that person.

As I turned around, my eyes got teary, and I saw Him.

The shock was visible on their face, and his eyes widened. He stepped back a little, meeting my face.

So there he was after leaving me alone? A disguised prince?

But he smiled, taking his steps towards me.

"It's been a while. Look, our destiny made us meet again. How are you, y/n?"
