Welcome to the first long fic in my "Like Moths to a Flame (Or, the Redemption Arc of Sebastian Sallow)" series. See in-line comment for a link to a reading list with the full ongoing series.
This story follows the events of Hogwarts Legacy through the eyes of Sebastian Sallow. It is entirely in Sebastian Sallow's POV (third-person limited). 😏
The fic covers ALL of Sebastian's quests, as well as a smattering of MC quests, but there are just as many chapters and dialogue from my own head, to fill in the gaps, so to speak.
Now, if you'd rather not read this first installment because you recently played the game (which is 1000% valid), you can start with any long fic in the series (of which there are currently three, as of 2025), since I always recap each book naturally in the first few chapters of each subsequent installment.
The wonderful artwork you'll see at the bottom of a handful of chapters was sent to me by a very talented reader, who asked to remain anonymous. You'll see her stunning artwork in later installments as well.
