POV: Lilliana
I'm in my religion class now. The professor is now talking about the god Ra. Hes the sun God. Dragons warship him. The one thing this professor hasn't taught about Ra is that so does pheonix. We warship him because our powers come from the sun. The sun is fire like we are. Dragons the same reason. There fire is said to have come from the sun as well. Everything we learn excludes pheonix. Its like they never existed. They've completely erased us and for what some war. Every species has been in a war and they didn't erase them.
Things like this are what fuels me. It fuels my vengeance. I'm still waiting on Noah to text me. The archives are where the accident report will be. I'm going to get my hands on it. Nathan tells me the Noah is sick right now so it may be a few days before he can get me in. Not just anyone can go in there and I'm not one of those people.
Max is staring at me again. He always does. I don't look back as much as I'd like to gaze into his eyes. I just love his eyes. They're like beautiful sapphires gazing at me. When he looks at me its like he can see me, the true me even though he doesn't. In order for him to be able to see me he'd have to know my secret and he doesn't.
Class ends and were dismissed. I have an hour before my next one. Lexie and I are going to try our dresses on and pick them up. Jonah came with us. Max wanted to but couldn't because he had a class right after that one.
We enter the shop. We tell the teller why we're there and she brings us to a changing area. One of the employees brings us our dresses. Lexie and I both enter a changing booth.
I put the dress on. Its as beautiful as I remember it being. Its not as long as it was which is good because it was too long before. Now its just right. The bust isn't as snug it now fits right. It doesn't need anymore alterations.
I come out of the dressing room at the same time as Lexie. Jonah's eyes nearly pop out of his head looking at Lexie. I think Jonah likes Lexie. He flirts with her sometimes. "Wow you guys look great." He says still not taking his eyes off Lexie. "Me too? Or just Lexie because you haven't taken your eyes off her yet. Haven't even looked at me." I say with a knowing smirk. He looks over at me. "Uh yes you as well." He says glaring at me. Lexie blushes.
"Does yours need anymore tailoring? Mine doesn't." I ask Lexie. She shakes her head no. We take our dresses off and put them in a dress bag. I teleport home with both mine and Lexie's dress. The plan is for Lexie to come over to get ready for the mating ball.
Once home I hang the dresses in my closet. I have ten minutes before my next class. While I'm home I check on mom real quick. She is still in her study. I hope she solves it. I wish she would tell me what she's found. I think if it was both of us we'd be able to find it quicker and easier. Maybe I should trying talking to her about it again and tell her I know she's still investigating.
I knock on the door at the same time saying, "Hey mom. Just checking in. Are you ok. Do you need anything?" "No sweetheart but thank you." She yells out from the other side of the door. "OK. I'm going back to school now. I dropped my dress for the ball off. See you later." I yell back. "OK honey bye." She says. I teleport to school. I'm really starting to get worried about mom.

POV: Jonah
I've met a girl recently. I feel the same way about her that Max described to me about Lily. Her name is Lexie. Lily caught me staring and pointed it out in front of her. That girl has no shame.
I actually have a class with her. In every class I have I have a special row that only I can sit in. Max is the same way. If we share a class we share the row. I told Lexie she could sit next to me but she wouldn't. She said it wouldn't be fare to the other students so she sat in front of me instead. Now I get to admire her long dirty blonde hair. I don't see how she flys with it that long. I feel like it would get in the way of her wings.
She wears a lot of blue so that tells me that she's a blue winged fairy. When I saw her in her dress i was left breathless. She was stunning. I'm going to ask her to the ball. With any luck she'll end up being my mate. I sure hope so. I gently tap her shoulder. She turns to look at me. "Hey I have somethings I want to ask you." I whisper to her. The look on her face says to go on. "Will you go to the mating ball with me?" I ask her. She's quite and doesn't answer me right away. I put myself out there, thats all I can do. "What if I meet my mate there. That would be awkward wouldn't it be?" She questions. Her face us slightly pink. Cute I think to myself. "Well yes but only if we let it be. If you find your mate and its not me I promise to back off." I tell her. "OK. I'll go with you." She says with her blush getting darker.
After class I see Max and Lily. She's laughing at something he said. My dragon still wants to protect her from Max. I've tried communicating with him several times asking him why but he won't tell me. He also doesn't think Max will hurt her but at the same time he could. I asked him about the mate thing if thats what is causing his inner debate. Sometime our inner beings know before the full moon they just can't tell us. He says its a possibility. He also said mate or not he could still hurt her. That was the part that got me worried. Mate or not? He basically said that Max might hurt her even if she's his mate. Why?
"Jonah!" Lily yells out waving me towards them. I run over to them. "Hey guys." "Tell him that pancakes are better than waffles." She says giggleing. "Uh oh. I'm sorry I can't do that. See if I did I'd be lying." I tell her. I would much rather waffles than pancakes. Looks like we have a debate on our hands. She gasps holding her hand to her chest. "How could you side with him?" She asks. "Of course he sided with me. He likes me better. I'm his best friend." Max says. "Here i thought you were my friend." Lily says. "I'm both your friends. Now I like waffles over pancakes but who am I to judge which is better." I tell them trying to all wise and stuff. Its a dragon thing. "Oh ok oh wise one. Taking Lexie to the ball is making me look bad." Max says. How do they know that we just got out of class and they haven't talked to Lexie yet. Lily must have seen the question because she answers it without me asking. "I was texting lexie and thats when she told me. Then I told Max." I nod. "OK but how am I making you look bad." I ask smirking. I know why. Its because of Lilliana but he doesn't want to admit that in front of her. "Well taking a date to the mating ball isn't something mateless do." He says which is true but that doesn't answer the question. "And what does that have to do with me taking Lexie making you look bad?" I ask. Max looks at Lily then back to me. Oh I know but is he going to say it aloud. Most likely not at least with Lily here. "Come on man you know." He says. "Yeah but I wanted to see if you'd say it out loud. But I question not." I tell him.

POV: Sarah
A mist hits me out of nowhere. I look around to find where its coming from. Its so dark here so its hard to see. I feel something crawl up my leg. I look down and its a spider. I grab my flashlight to see there are tons of them. The mist wasn't a mist buy webs.
I hate spiders. I need to get through these spiders fast. I use my magic to push them aside and away. I run as fast as can with them trying to chase me. I can only push them away for so long. I need a diffrent strategy.
As I was running I stop just in time at a cliff I almost went over. I use my magic to make the spiders go down the cliff.
Daddy said when I get to a giant crab that I would be close to the hydra. So far I haven't seen not one crab.
