Y/n's POV

"I can't believe this. How is everyone suddenly taking his side?"

"I don't know, he's like a prince. Sometimes it feels like even Momo is taking his side."

"RIGHT. Oh my god, I noticed that too. She's been like bleh towards the whole situation lately."

"I'm glad we can talk Mina. I don't know who I'd talk to if it weren't for you. I mean yeah I really like Momo, but the longer Todoroki is playing this out, the more I think she's siding with him."

"I don't get why everyone wants you to apologize. You haven't even done anything. He's the one who attacked you in the hospital."

"Yeah but he's saying otherwise and Momo is even starting to believe it. He said he went in to apologize."

"I know. It's so irritating."

We then heard a knock come from my door. We turned and awaited who ever it was.

Jiro and Hanta walked in.

"Hey."

"Hi?"

"Shoto is coming up with another lie about you y/n." Hanta said.

"As per usual." Mina scoffed.

"I don't understand what his deal with me is. You know what, fuck it I'm going and confronting him."

Jiro stretched her ear jack in front of me. "I don't know if thats a good idea. It might make things worse." She said.

"At this point, I don't care anymore. I'm so tired of his shit." I pushed past the four of them and stormed downstairs to the living room.

Everyone looked at me.

"What?" I yelled.

Shoto scoffed at me.

"No what do you have to say IcyHot. I'm so sick and tired of your lies about me. You won't even say shit to my face."

"See she's even trying to pick a fight now."

"Oh my fucking..."

I melted myself down and went to Todoroki as fast as I could. When I got to him I reformed and grabbed him by the collar.

"I don't care if all of these people think I'm the bad guy in this situation. I don't care about what they have to say to me. But I am through with you and your lies and the shit talking. We're settling this once and for all."

He grabbed my hand, the one holding him in the air and let fire out of his hand onto mine. The flame was huge, but I didn't let go. I can't fail right now.

"Bitch." He spat out and made the flames bigger and hotter. At this point everyone backed up so it was safe for us to fight freely.

I made my free hand metal and punched him in the face as hard as I could. His head knocked back and the fire stopped for a moment. I took this as a sign to throw him as far as I could.

He slammed into the wall. I waited a moment, just so I can see him move before I sent spikes his way. I made sure to avoid hitting him. My goal was never to hurt him real bad, just knock some sense into him. The punch was only because I was mad.

He shot ice my way. Freezing me. I don't know why he keeps doing this. It's like he forgets I can melt through it every time. I did exactly that.

I brought myself closer to him again and punched him. No metal just my normal fist. He spat out some blood before going to punch back, but I dodged.

"Why do you always have to prove that you're so much better than me?"

"That was never my intention. I never in a million years thought I was better than you. No matter how hard I work, I will never be as good as you. Or even Deku or Bakugo."

"But you are."

"What?"

We both stopped fighting and stepped back.

"Todoroki, is this all because you genuinely think I'm better than you? Like actually?"

"Well yeah. And you always have to shove it in my face."

"I never try to. I never even thought I was."

"Really?"

"Yeah.

Momo's POV

The two stood in silence as we all watched.

"You're faking it." Shoto yelled before blasting his strongest flame at y/n.

She didn't move. She let it envelope her in.

"SHOTO STOP." Izuku yelled.

He just made his flames bigger and stronger.

We were all slowly watching as y/n was being burnt to a crisp.

I can't watch this. I can't watch this piece of shit burn my girlfriend, the love of my life, to dust.

I tried to run into the fire but Sero and Denki grabbed me. "Momo don't."

"You're just gonna get hurt. Y/n is in metal form right now. He's just burning her metal." Sero said.

I sighed and relaxed a little.

Shoto kept going until he completely wore himself out and he collapsed to the ground. I can't believe I actually thought that y/n might've done some of the things he said.

I ran to y/n as soon as she turned back into her normal form. She's scolding hot.

"Ow." I stepped back after hugging her.

"Are you okay Mo? I'm gonna be burning hot for a while. But I'll go take an ice bath."

"Okay. Right now?"

"Yeah. Can you bring me a towel and some clothes? Please."

I nodded and ran upstairs to my room. I grabbed her one of my towels and one of my sleeping shirts. I don't have underwear for her so I'll have to go to her room and get some.

After I got them I went to the bathroom and placed them in there. "Your stuff is here y/n."

"Thank you Mo."

I began to walk out because I don't want to creep on her.

"Momo, can you come in here and talk with me for a moment?"

My heart dropped. Is she mad that I actually believed Shoto? Is she going to break up with me?

I walked back in and sat by the bath so we could talk.

"Why did you actually believe what he said?"

"I'm sorry. I know you're impulsive and petty. So I did believe him, but probably not how you think I did. I just figured he did something to provoke you. I never believe his stories 100%. I'm so sorry y/n."

"It's okay. It just hurt my feelings a bit."

"I can imagine."

"I'm sorry."

"No. Momo I don't want you apologizing. I'm happy you told me. And I thought it was cute you were gonna run into those flames to save me. But you have to be careful. I would've been really upset with myself if you got hurt in the middle of that."

"I'm sorry y/n. I just really wanted to protect you. I thought you were being burnt to ashes."

"Oh come on Mo. You really think I would've let him do that?"

"Well I guess not. I was being impulsive. You're rubbing off on me."

"And you're so cute. I'm glad I have you. You know Momo, I really love you."

I froze and smiled, "I love you."

She had such a geeky smile as she stared up at me. I completely forgot that she's naked. Once I realized my face flushed and I had to look everywhere but at her.

"I knew you didn't realize. You're so cute."
