Unexpected | Walker Scobell x Reader

Leah and I hung around at the Starbucks until the zoom meeting. Honestly, I was nervous to meet everyone and see Walker again. We really had been such good friends. It was his choice to ghost me but if it had been up to me, I would still be friends with him. I even still had the bracelet that he made for me when we were younger. I wore it everyday. 

Okay Walker aside, the meeting was in 5 minutes so we decided to get ready. On the email there was a link to the zoom meeting so I joined early to tell the director that Leah and I would be doing it from the same screen. 

When we joined I saw only who I assumed was the director. 

"Hi! You must be (Y/N)? I'm Alex, the director." (I have no idea if that is true)

"Yep and I'm here with-" I was about to say I was with Leah but then she popped her head into the screen so she could be seen. I giggled and finished my sentence. 

"Leah." I grinned at her and she did back. 

"Oh! That's good so you must already be friends. May I ask how you guys met?"

"We actually met at the audition. We sat next to each other. " Leah answered for me. 

Alex looked like he was about the ask something again when someone else joined. (btw for this I'm only going to have the younger actors join cause tbh I'm a lil lazy)

"Hey! I'm Aryan. Playing Grover." He introduced himself. Leah, Alex and me quickly responded back to him. 

"So," Alex said "we must just be waiting for Walker." He looked a little impatient. I nodded I certainly knew from experience. He would always be late when we were still friends. 

"While we wait (Y/N) and Aryan you two and Walker should plan a get together sometimes. You should get to know each other better." Alex told us. I frowned. I had no problem with Aryan but I didn't want to hang out with Walker if it wasn't absolutely necessary.  Aryan must have noticed me frowning because he asked,

"What's wrong with that (Y/N)?" Aryan look disappointed and a little hurt. He probably thought that I didn't like him or something. 

"Uhm... Nothing it's just that..." I scrambled to find some excuse for not wanting to get together with Walker. 

"Uh it's nothing..." Although Aryan didn't seem to be satisfied with that answer he let it go. He seemed like a nice guy I'd be fine with meeting up with him. Us four made a little small talk about the filming and how it would go when Walker joined. He seemed like he was rushed joining. 

"Oh sorry I'm late! My mom-" He stopped in the middle of his sentence when I assumed he saw me. He quickly turned his attention back to explaining why he was late but I could tell he was still shocked by his eyes. I swear I thought he looked even a little guilty. But honestly how could he have not known that I got Annabeth? He must've not looked through the whole email. And did he have to look that shocked? I wasn't that bad of an actress.

"Well since we are all here now I would like to explain some things about the show. For starters, we are planning to start in two weeks. If all goes as planned it should take about 5-6 months to film." We all nod at Alex's words listening carefully, not wanting to miss a word he said incase it was important. 

"And Walker I already said this to Aryan and (Y/N) but I expect you three to get together since you three will be filming a lot together. I'll leave it up to you guys when but, do it before we start filming." 

I gulped. I was definitely not looking forward to that. Alex finished telling us about what the show would be like. 

"I think you guys should exchange numbers so you can plan something and get to know each other." We quickly did that but I didn't get Leah's since I already had hers. 

"And before we go I must say I really enjoyed all of your auditions. You guys did good." Alex said smiling at us. 

"Thanks!" I said to him secretly smiling inside. He thought I was good! Nobody except my mom had told me that before. 

"You guys can log off now. I'll see you in two weeks!" We all said bye to each other and I shut the computer.

I looked at Leah and she grinned. 

"Oh my gosh (Y/N)! This is going to be so much fun!" She told me and I smiled back at her.

"I know right! I do have to go my mom will be here in 5." I frowned, I was having fun with Leah. 

"Aww. Well we have to hang out again sometime." She said back to me.

"You know it! I'll see you later!" I said hurrying out of the Starbucks as my mom pulled up and took me home.
