50~ Out of Time

"Pepe! Please wake up!" Nigel cried. "The bandage did help the wound but he won't wake up-" Emma panicked. Y/n sat beside Emma, along with Ray. "We stopped his bleeding but can't do anything beyond that for now. We should leave him here" Ray said with a sad sigh. "Damn it! Leuvis is a complete monster. We were able to carry out the plan. We broke his mask. The flash bomb worked! But he still overcomes everything we throw at him" Cried Nigel.

Mister glanced though the window of the house as his mind raced in what they could do to defeat Leuvis. "We are totally screwed" he said under his breath nervously.

Leuvis marched through the now crumbled village. "Where are you all hiding?!" He sang. Emma paced around the room in a panic. "Let's regroup and change our positions. And aim for his weak spot again" Emma said. "It's useless...I already tried that" Mister said, leaning against the wall as he fidgeted with his gun. "But if we all shoot-" "you think we can do it, really? There's nothing we can do. We need to get outta here. We have this opportunity while his senses are screwed up to run away!!" Shouted Mister, annoyed.

"No." Y/n said as she stood up. "Y/n-" began Nigel. "If we run now, we won't be able to save everyone" y/n walked towards  Mister. "Everyone?" Asked the man in confusion. "Gillian, Oliver, Nigel, Pepe, Emma, you, me, Ray and of course Lucas and all the other children. I'm not going to let anyone die. We're all going to get out of this hunting ground" y/n said with determination. Mister punched the wall beside him. "Even if we escape we might all get killed! He can still come after us. If we run now he'll catch up easily. It won't do any good." Y/n said.

She turned around to Nigel. "Did you tell Lucas about the last resort?" She asked. "What? Yeah I did but it's too early for that...well actually isnt it our only option now? Nothing else has worked" Nigel said. "There's still a way. There has to be" "like what?" Asked Emma. "We can't give up. We need to think. We just have to come up with a plan and..." y/n began.

"There isn't one. No such plan exits. We already don't have time to think. Why don't you get it? If we loose this chance, our window to escape will be gone too!" Said Mister. "Yeah...but if we run away now we'll go back to a life of surviving by sacrificing someone else" y/n said. The nameless man stared at y/n. He was frustrated , panicked and didn't know what was the right thing to do.

"...it's scary I know. I'm scared too...that demon...and the decision we have to make. But all of us don't want to loose anyone anymore. Emma, Lucas and myself found a room below the surface. In it was secret messages from Mister Minerva" y/n began. "What did he say?" Asked Ray. Y/n looked at the ground for a moment then looked back up at Emma.

"....he explained alot. But it turns out that he was my brother" y/n said. Ray and Misters eyes widened, they stared at each other than back at y/n. "What?!" Mister yelled, waving his arms in the air. "Brother?! Was?!" Asked Ray, equally as confused. "His real name was James Ratri. Minerva was a undercover name. after he died I was sent to GraceField, the family rules the Farms and he didn't agree with it- it's complicated I'll explain later if we are alive... but the main point is that there's a tunnel to freedom that he dug for us. Our constant fear of being hunted will end. We'll all be able to go to a world without demons. There are times where we should fall back but now is not one of those times. Let's win! Let's win and get out of this hunting ground. With everyone!! This time for sure" y/n said with determination. Ray put his hand on his head. "Yeah you better explain the whole Minerva thing to me later it's gonna mess with my head" he said.

Mister thought for a few moments. He then proceeded to whack the top of y/ns head. "You are so annoying!! Little miss Rapunzel Ratri lecturing me, eh? Fine I'll do as you say, y/n" Mister rolled his eyes.

Y/n, Emma and Rays eyes lit up. "No nickname?!" Emma laughed. "Did you just call me by my name?" Y/n smiled. "Go away" the man rolled his eyes and walked away from her. "What's your name?" Y/n asked. "Won't you ever just shut up for once!?....I'll tell you if we can defeat Leuvis and get out of Goldy Pond safely" Mister sighed.
