Tws-Angst kinda,no prns used
You wake up to an empty bed, the warmth and comfort of his embrace still lingering. The sun shines through the windows casting a golden glow on the room, bringing with it the promise of a new day filled with adventures and possibilities. But you can't shake off the gnawing feeling in your chest, the one that's been growing for days now, like a cancer eating away at your happiness.
You try to push the thought away, busying yourself with your morning routine. You turn on the TV, but the images flicker before your eyes, meaningless chatter. You grab a coffee but the bitterness lingers in your mouth, a reminder of the sourness in your heart.
Larry walks in the door, and you smile at him, but it doesn't reach your eyes. You can tell something's different but you try not to think too much about it. Maybe he's just tired, you tell yourself.
But then he sits you down, and the words start pouring out of his mouth, a river of sadness and confusion. He tells you he's been feeling restless, like he needs to explore new horizons. He tells you he's been struggling, that he needs to focus on himself for a while, that he can't be with you anymore.
The words hit you like a slap in the face, the pain raw and immediate. You can't believe what you're hearing, you can't accept it. You plead with him, you try to convince him that you can work things out, that you love each other.
But he just shakes his head, his eyes full of regret and longing. He tells you he's sorry, that it's not your fault, that he hopes you can forgive him someday.
And just like that, he's gone, leaving you alone in the quiet of your empty apartment. You feel like a part of you has been ripped away, leaving a gaping hole that you don't know how to fill. You curl up on the couch, tears streaming down your face, drowning in the memories of what used to be. The only sound other then your light sobs was the sound being the rain hitting the porch outside.
Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and you're still trying to piece yourself back together. The world seems bleaker, the colors less vibrant. Everywhere you go, the echoes of his laughter and his touch still haunt you.
But you keep going, forcing yourself to push forward, one step at a time. You go out with friends, you work harder at your job, you try new things, you follow your dreams and push harder. And slowly but surely, you realize that you're still whole, that you can still find joy and happiness even without him.
You're grateful for the lessons he taught you, the memories you shared, even though they hurt. You're grateful for the chance to love and be loved, even though it didn't work out the way you hoped.
You missed him like hell, missing every single thought about him, every where you walk or go a faded memory of Larry lays, slowly fading.
You wished it ended differently with him helping you reach your dreams and goals, but things don’t always end the way you want, no matter how much it hurts that’s life.
