Even though Karna was behaving like a baby, Lord Parashuram couldn't get his old temper back to scold this boy. That's how Karn moulded him into a soft person.

He heard the grown up man sobbing,"I have stayed with you more than I stayed with my parents, Gurudev! I know you more than I know my parents. Ofcourse its very bad of me as a son but as a Shishya I know I'm good one. I know what you want to do by your face expression itself...Please Gurudev. This time I'll not bother you. I'll not even talk with you. Please...please.... take me with you or stay with me!!"

Bheeshma and Drona were looking at the scene with jealousy. Their Gurudev never talk much with them. Gandhari weeped softly to herself. Putr Karn is a strong boy, her hands itched to hug the boy and comfort him. And Lord Parashuram atlast made his voice stern to scold the boy before him.

He said,"Maitriraj Karn! You're my student. I'm your teacher. Thats all. You can't order me to do this or that. Am I looking like a servant to you?? Get up! First of all...I said Get up. I gave you skills and knowledge abundantly. That's all. Hereafter, if you want to be my good Shishya follow dharma and be a good king. Now leave me!!"

Karn's heart broke. Dharani exclaimed,"Swami!" Vasusen looked at his Gurudev who was glaring at him sharply. His Gurudev never talked to him like this. He scolded him softly but not this much harshly. He never treated Karn as an outsider even during earlier days. He left his Gurudev's legs. He touched his feet for blessings and silently stood up.

He closed his eyes saying,"I apologize for my behaviour, Gurudev!! I should not have crossed my boundaries. You are always welcome here. If you ever want to meet me, which I assume you would not but if you want, send a message I'll be there before you wherever you are. Thank y-you for everything you've done for me, Gurudev!! Please take care of yourselves. Take care Mata Dharani. I'll miss you so much!!"

Saying so, he took his step back... Lord Parashuram began to move making Dharani to follow him. Vasusen didn't raise his head. He didn't want to see both of them leave. On the other hand, Lord Parashuram didn't like the way he is leaving his Shishya hurt by his words. When he reached the entrance, he couldn't help but turn around only to see the almighty King wiping his tears. He sighed and for the first time he called,"VASUSEN!!"

Karn's eyes widened. This is the first time his Gurudev was calling by his name. He stood there looking at his Gurudev with wide eyes. Lord Parashuram said,"Well! I think you forgot to give hug to me. You usually do that before you go to sleep! Come here!! After all, you won't be able to sleep without hugging me! "

Karn bit his lips tightly not to burst into tears again. He ran towards his Gurudev hugging him. And Lord Parashuram hugged his Shishya back for the first time and said,"I didn't mean anything Vasusen! But we can't stay here and neither you can come with me. This is the harsh reality. I have never said this to any of my students but I'll really miss you. I'll miss your brattiness mainly Dharani will miss pampering you. You have become a part in our life but sometimes we should let some people go. The same thing...but I'll give you a boon, whenever you face extreme happiness, good and bad things in life, you'll get my blessings and help without you seeking for it. I'll pay you a visit with Dharani afterwards. Take care of yourself. Don't overpractice. Okay??"

Dharani pulled the boy for a hug saying,"You'll be the greatest King of your times, child! Mata will miss you. Don't forget to eat. Do meditation daily. Make yourself calm before you do anything, okay! Come and meet us whenever you are free. I'll wait for you, Putr! I'm giving you a boon. You can ask for it"
