Your darling neighbor Wally as found out that you get easily flustered over little things! What shall he do? Flirt.

This oneshot is directed towards the male audience, but any may read.

[Y/N's POV]

Picking out the ripe bananas, I place them into my basket. Poppy and I had planned to make banana muffins for everyone, so I was currently out buying what we needed from Howdy's store.

Out of the corner of my eye as I picked out a milk carton, I noticed Wally not too far away by the fruit isle. Piling.. apples in his basket. I chuckled at him, he heard me and turned. He has his usual smile on. Only, it changed to a somewhat... flirty one as he winked at me suddenly. My face heated up at the action. I looked away, butterflies forming in my stomach.

Wally chuckled, then I heard footsteps. Next thing I know, he's in-front of me with the flirtatious smile he had on earlier. My face felt warmer. "Hey, darling neighbor." He cooed out. Darling. As in, D-A-R-L-I-N-G, darling. He placed a hand onto my cheek, his hand soft, and warm. "Oh?" He smiled innocently, "Why the flushed face, darling? Mm? Did something happen?"

Oh my god.

I knew damn well, that he knew what he was doing. I tried to speak, only to fail horribly. I stumbled and stuttered over my words. "I- uhm.. wh.. Hi." I mustered out. He smiled, and removed his hand from my face. He waved bye, leaving me there. I was still processing that one word. Darling.

After that little incident with Wally, he's been a huge tease ever sense. Calling me names like.. "Babyboy", "Darling", "Dear", good god.. "Handsome" and "Love." Its been 2 weeks. 2 weeks of his constant teasing! My flustered ass, CANNOT, handle this.

A sigh escaped my lips as I stared at the starry, night sky. I stood on the front of my porch for some fresh air, thinking about Wally's recent behavior and attitude towards me. Did I like him? I suppose, he IS... charming, and.. sweet and kind. Artistic and.. and funny, and so much more... Oh god. Oh god, oh my goodness.

"I.. like, like Wally..." I whispered out into the cool night. My face flushed, and I shook my head. "Oh, (y/n), what are you thinking..." I sighed, holding the bridge of my nose with my hand until I heard someone else speak from in front of me.

"You like me?" I jumped looking up. Wally. Of all the times he could go out for his usual night walk.. My eyes widened, and my face heated up. "I- uhm!-" Panicking, I ran for my door, but was stopped as I felt Wally grab my wrist. I gasped as he pulled me around and held me close to his body. Eyes staring right into mine, a firm grip on my waist. Before I could speak, he kissed me.

It was a soft, and loving kiss. He pulled away, a serious look on his face. I was frozen, not knowing what to do. Then, his face melted into a smile, and he pulled me into a hug. "That makes me happy, pretty boy." The blush on my face darkened. He pulled away, staring at me with lovesick eyes. "Would you perhaps... allow this, charming.. funny man, to be the luckiest man ever, and be his?" His voice came out smooth and silky.

I was taken aback, but my shocked expression soon turned into a smile. I hugged him tightly, "Yes! O- of course I will!" Wally sighed with relief, and hugged me back.

"Good, because now... you're all mine, Darling."
