Snape x Reader

You were just laying there staring up at the night sky, taking in the events that had occurred. You had never felt like this before.

You turn and look at Severus he seems to be in deep thought. You turn on your side, now facing him. He turns his head and looks at you. You put your hand on his chest and lean in to kiss him.

Very slowly and very softly you place your lips on his. You then pull away still close to his face.

"That was incredible Severus." You say softly. Hoping to maybe reassure him or make him smile.

He looks away directing his gaze to the sky again.

"..yes...it was." He says still looking deep in thought.

"Then what's wrong?" You ask not understand why he's acting this way if he liked it as much as you.

He doesn't look at you he just stands up and starts getting dressed. You were so confused.

You get up and start getting dressed as well.

What did I do wrong? Is he mad at me?  You think as you put your last piece of clothing back on.

"Nothing...you did nothing wrong darling...it's me." He says.

You turn and look at him. "What? What do you mean?" You say genuinely confused.

"I shouldn't have done this..it's..it's wrong."

"What?" You walk up to him. "No Severus I wanted this, you did nothing wrong!" You say trying to reassure him once again.

"It's not a matter of what either of us wanted or want...this was just...wrong. You.... I mean you're my student!" He says that last part a bit aggressively. "Me and your father are good friends.." he says almost sounding disgusted with himself.

You step closer grabbing his hands in yours as you start to say "Sev-" he cuts you off and pulls his hands away. Taking his hand to his forehead rubbing it.

He was so conflicted and frustrated, you could see it. You were just as conflicted and...hurt is probably the best word.

"Severus...listen, I know I'm your student I know, but you mean a lot to me..this meant a lot to me..I don't regret it. Do you?" You say, your voice laced with pain.

"I..." he starts, he sees how he's hurting you, he hears it in your voice. He doesn't know what to say. You mean a lot to him too. He never does this type of thing with anyone, it felt amazing with you. It felt right...in the moment, now he feels guilty for some reason.

"I..don't. This meant something to me aswell, but...it can't happen again. I'm sorry y/n. You mean a great deal to me... I don't deserve you and you didn't deserve to be hurt like this."

You felt tears start to well up in your eyes threatening to break and start flowing down your face.

"Please don't do this.." the tears start coming down your face as you step towards him again. "Please I.." you have wanted this for so long and now it finally happened, you didn't want it to end just like that.

"No y/n. As I said this can never happen again and no one can ever know it happened at all."

His comment made you a bit angry.

"You think I would tell anyone?!" You say loudly.

"I can't believe this! How...how dare you..you just.. can't just do that to someone! You make the first move at dinner like that and then wait for me in my room and then all of this?!" You were pissed, practically screaming at him as tears continued to stream down your face.
