Wounded Spark

"Sideswipe, you and Ultra Magnus will search the area you left Primaltone at." Optimus said. Ultra Magnus nodded and stood up. "Hey what about Sunstreaker?" Sideswipe said. "He can help Ratchet and I locate her signal." Optimus said. "You heard your leader, move." Ultra Magnus said walking past the youngling. Sideswipe groaned and followed. "Why did you take her in the first place? Surely you new the dangers." Ultra Magnus said after they left the room. "Yeah I totally knew a Predacon was going to show up." Sideswipe said rolling his optics. "I meant the dangers of scouting." The blue mech said. "You old timers don't understand, its boring to sit on a berth doing nothing." Sideswipe said. Ultra Magnus paused and looked at him. "You younglings don't understand the consequences of your actions. Primaltone could be offline." Ultra Magnus said. Sideswipe cringed. "Don't need to be so dark." Sideswipe muttered.

Aileron sniffed the side of the cliff she had landed by. She tilted her head and strained her audio receptors. A faint wind rattled against rock. There's a space behind this Aileron thought. She took a step back and narrowed her optics. Aileron charged and rammed her shoulder against the rock. It cracked but didn't fall. The she-dragon backed up and hit the rock again. This time it gave way. A large space opened up. Aileron stuck her helm in and looked around. It was spacious and large enough. She backed out and turned her helm towards the trees. "Skylynx! Darksteel!" Aileron called. The two had gone exploring after she had landed. It made sense, the two had been cooped up in that room since leaving Shockwave's lab.
Aileron heard Darksteel's little chirp and the sound of undergrowth rustling. The little sparkling bounded out and gave a little flap of his wings. He looked up at her and chirped excitedly. Aileron lowered her helm to Darksteel's level. "Enjoy the forest." Aileron said.
~Friend! Meet friend!~ Darksteel chirped through their new bond. Aileron blinked, she was still getting used to it. "Who's this friend?" Aileron asked. She lifted her helm at the sound of Skylynx chirping. The larger sparkling walked in leading a youngling femme. She had a blue and silver helm and her body was a mix of red, silver, and blue. Aileron narrowed her optics. The femme gasped and ran up to her. "Ail! It's you!" The femme gasped. Aileron lowered her helm and sniffed her helm. A set of fuzzy memories swam into her mind. Aileron shook her helm and blinked. The femme frowned. "Primaltone!" The femme said placing a digit on Aileron's snout. "Pri. Mal. Tone." Primaltone said poking her snout. Aileron took a step back as the memories finally came flooding back;
"The femme gave her the 'isn't it obvious' look. 'You're special.' . . ."

"Primaltone wrapped her little arms around Aileron's neck. . . Primaltone scooted closer to her. "He can't get out right? He can't break locks like you...right?" Primaltone asked."

" Primaltone had fallen into stacis and was still snuggled against her chestplate."

"Primaltone yelped as she lost her hold and smacked into the other wall."

Aileron was pulled out of her thoughts by the worried chirps of the sparklings. "Ail...you have creations." Primaltone said. "That's right." Aileron said. "Where do sparklings come from?" Primaltone asked. "Primaltone, I am not answering that." Aileron said. "Why not Ail?" The little femme said. "I see you've met Darksteel and Skylynx." Aileron said. Primaltone nodded completely forgetting her question. "Yeah, they're fun." Primaltone giggled. Aileron raised her helm and looked around. "Are you by yourself?" Aileron asked. Primaltone nodded. Aileron shook her helm. "Honestly, how could I let you end up like this. Is everyone that irresponsible." Aileron sighed. "Not everyone." Primaltone said.
Darksteel and Skylynx yawned and Aileron nosed them towards the cave. "Mind if I stay with you for a bit." Primaltone asked. "Not at all." Aileron said nudging Primaltone with her tail.
