Knock knock

"Dolcezza it's been three days, won't you come out?" My dad said from the other side of the door.

That's right. It's been three days since I've left my room. Someone brings my food to the door and I take it and when I'm done I leave it.

The main person I'm avoiding is Tony when I think of him I get sad. Of course I want him to be happy but for some reason it's harder than I expected to root for someone.

He's been coming by my room, texting and calling but I haven't responded. I'm coming to the realization that I might like him but it's better to cut it off now.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Is what I've been telling myself. I've taken these few days to think and I think it's best I take a trip somewhere for a while.

I'm sure a different environment will help and once I'm gone Tony and his first love can be happy. I'm not sure I can stomach seeing them everyday.

So I've decided to take a trip and explore something new. I've always wanted to travel and this is the perfect time. I'm sure my family will agree I just have to find someone to travel with other than them and Tony. I'll have to convince my dad and brothers to let me go without them.

Knock knock

"Luna are you asleep?" My dad knocked again.

"No dad, come in."

"How are you feeling dolcezza? You've been making us worry." He said.

"I'm sorry dad I didn't mean to."

"It's okay but what happened all of a sudden?"

I honestly didn't know what to tell him it's not like I could say I'm in a one sided love with a man half my age. Not only that but I wanna runaway from home because I'm to cowardly to face him.

"Nothing dad I just suddenly got sad.. I was thinking though.. I want to travel I think it'll lift my spirits."

"Travel? I mean that's no problem but I'll have to make arrangements to follow you. I'll have to gather your brothers, Tony and guards -" he rambled on.

"No! I mean it's alright, I wanted to travel with just nonna and aunt like a girls trip."

"Hmm you'll still need guards and you'll have to stay with them at all times."

"Okay I get it! When can I go?"

"Where did you want to go? It's getting colder here maybe somewhere warm? Hawaii?" He said.

"Sure! Great! Hawaii it is." I said not knowing where it was but as long as it was far from here I was willing.

"Give me two days to prepare dolcezza." He said kissing my forehead.

"Thanks dad."

"Come down for dinner with me?"

"Okay." I hoped Tony wasn't home.

We made our way downstairs and I peered a round every corner hoping to not run into him.

"Dolcezza what are you looking for?"

"Oh I was wondering where everyone is."

More like where's Tony.

"Everyone is in the kitchen."

Everyone?!

"I don't think your brothers are going to take your traveling to Hawaii well even I'm apprehensive." He said.
