'I believe that's called protecting you.'

I didn't have a chance to argue with him as he took off back towards the manor, Snowy and the Rottweiler barking playfully behind me.

-----

When Tintin and I got back to the manor, we immediately started to try and find and way into the house.

"Look, there's a broken window right there. I bet if you lift me, I could reach the latch and open it for us." I said, pointing to a window right above us.

Tintin gave me a nod before setting down his flashlight and folding his hand in order to give me a boost. I stepped in his hands and he lifted me, allowing me to reach the widow. I grabbed the latch and quickly opened the window.

"Got it!" I whisper-shouted. I quickly climbed in through the window and then looked back out. Tintin threw me his flashlight, which I caught and then placed next to me on the floor. I looked back outside only to see him backed away from the manor. He quickly ran towards it, running up the wall a little bit, and grabbing my outstretched hand, I pulled him inside through the window. This wasn't our first rodeo breaking into places...

Tintin grabbed his flashlight off the ground. "You alright?" I asked him and he nodded before bringing a finger up to his lips, telling me to be quiet, I gave a nod.

We looked around the room with our flashlights but it was rather empty. Tintin spotted the door to the room. We both headed towards it, completely oblivious to the moving figure on the other side of the room.

Tintin opened the door and I followed him in

Tintin opened the door and I followed him in. Once again, the room was empty aside for remodeling materials. However, there was a white sheet covering something box-shaped in the middle of the room. Tintin quickly went up to it and ripped the sheet off, revealing the Unicorn model.

"Gotcha." I whispered under my breath.

Tintin quickly opened the display and pulled out the ship. "Well, well, well. It seems we've caught our thief." He said.

Suddenly, I felt a presence behind me but before I could turn around, a sharp pain in my head knocked me to the ground.

The world around me spun but it was suddenly bright. The lights - someone had turned the lights on. I held my head as I sat up, looking over to see Tintin doing the same. Someone came over and picked up the model ship from his lap, taking it away from us.
