Dream come true

2 days she hasn't said a word to me since the jet ski
2 days that I've been in my own head about this and I don't want to leave my room anymore why do I feel so hopeless about a girl a met a week ago? And now we're on the 3rd.

She was leaving in 2 days as-well, Isobel had something else planned for us but with how the last one ended I don't know if I even want to go or if Leah will even show up, she had already agreed to come a while ago but I don't know if that has changed now.

Me and Isobel went down to get some breakfast as Isobel needed her daily dose of caffeine, we sat down at one of the tables, we'd been exploring the city a bit for the past two days mostly focusing on touristic spots like popular beaches,  "Christ the redeemer" and yesterday a day trip out to the sugarloaf mountain.

While i was taking a bite out of my croissant i suddenly heard a familiar voice next me as Leah approached us, she didn't seem mad or upset with me anymore, she was back to how it had been for the past two weeks. She asked us if it was still alright if she tagged along with us today, to which of course me and Isobel agreed to.  Maybe I had been overthinking the whole thing and Leah hadn't been mad at me at all.

We finished our breakfast and we're ready to go, Isobel had told me this time what she a had planned to do which sounded very exciting if I'm being honest but was still a surprise to Leah which I decided to keep that way. Till arrived to this boat with a guy and a woman, the woman was English and was really welcoming, she was there mostly for safety reasons. Leah pieced it all together when the saw the large sheet of plastic on the side of the boat as we started heading out, "shit we're going paragliding?"she asked smiling at me and Isobel "yeah did Claudia not tell you" Isobel said walking up behind us raising her voice of the noise of the boat "nah she didn't mention it, how do you even keep planning stuff like this anyway" she asked Isobel turning around to face as she crossed her arms "I like the adrenaline so I find my own ways" she replied as the brown haired woman from earlier came to us saying two of us could get strapped in as she had placed the fabric as it was up on the air, Isobel said for me and Leah to on first as she would go by herself which nether of us disagreed to, the lady strapped us in the garnishes making sure they weren't too tight but safe and then stepped back to join Isobel.

As the Wind hit the sort of parachute behind our backs it's started to lift us up.

I could feel The Adrenaline.

It's fast. Sudden. Quick in your bloodstream.
Icy fire coursed through my veins, igniting my skin in a rush of cold flames.

My breathing became faster, I felt more aware. Like a shock of energy pumping through my body, rushing to my fingertips. Everything is faster, clearer. When I realised Leah had grabbed on to my left hand as we got higher and higher into the air.

The world suddenly slows down, to the point where I can feel my pulse thrumming through my veins. It's exhilarating. I grabbed onto this moment looking around when everything grew smaller and smaller.

The entire time Leah did not let go of my hand I could see the amazement in her face as-well as a hint of fear when the wind would hit slightly harder as when u are that high up you can truly feel it hitting you.

As we got lowered back down onto the boat and completely unstrapped Leah still had not let go of my hand. Isobel went on by herself shortly after we had gotten back and I could hear her scream from the moment she set off, happy screams of course she loved this sort of stuff, could even say she lived for it.
Which is why she would generally perform her own stunts for her films, making her an even greater actress in my option, not that not doing your own stunts made you any worse I just admired her dedication.

I think Leah was aware she had not let go of my hand for a while, even as we sat down, she rubbed her thumb up and down my hand as she leaned on my shoulder as we laughed at Isobel up in the sky which seemed like she was up there forever, and we just patiently waited for her to come back down.
