Ruby wore a red and white strawberry bikini for the car wash fundraiser. She playfully sprayed Matt Donovan with a water hose to try and cheer the guy up. Ruby initially never gave a crap about Matt, he was always Elena's boyfriend before. But she felt bad for him, he's had a rough go of it with his mother, his sister, him being the one to find Mr. Tanners body. In fact, she wanted to distract the whole school from all the death that's been going around lately.
Her eyes landed on Emily, more importantly to all the clothing upon Emily's body. "Emily where the hell is your bathing suit?"
Emily glanced down at her body. "Underneath."
Ruby placed her hands on her hips. "Why not overneath?"
"Ruby that's not even a word."
"I don't care. Strip girl, strip! Creepy old men love teenagers in bikinis, that's how we attract customers." Ruby gestured to herself and to everybody around them.
"I'm not even on the cheer team, why do I need to do this!" Emily exclaimed.
"Because you're my best friend, besides you're on the school planning committee. Show some spirit!" Ruby picked up the hose and quickly sprayed her best friend. "Oops you're all wet, guess you gotta take them off." The red head shrugged while Emily rolled her eyes and pulled off her top.
"I'm keeping my shorts on." Emily stated.
"I'll take it." Ruby smiled before rubbing towards a car that was pulling up.
Emily sighed looking around, now feeling completely bare. When she walked over to see if she could handle the money one of cheer leaders barked at her and said to go hold a sign or something. Emily rolled her eyes and then they landed on Elena who stood with Stefan.
They were smiling and laughing like the happy couple they were, and Emily was jealous. Not of her sister(there were multiple other occasions where she was though) but with her sisters new found relationship. Something she'd recently come to long for.
Emily immediately shook the thought out of her head before picking up a sponge.

Emily spotted Elena sitting by the money and made her way over. "How was dinner last night? I didn't see you before you went to bed." Emily asked. The previous night her and Jeremy helped Stefan surprise Elena with dinner. The couple had a small fight earlier that day and Stefan wanted to make it up.
