[1]"Man it's raining like cats and dogs out there." Dojo laid within his favorite tree, sleepily watching the falling liquid.
"It's falling a lot harder then usual." Guan looked out to the training ground, build up of water created a layer upon the ground, mud turning the liquid brown. "At least there's no lightening, that's a good sign." The tiny dragon yawned, tired tears pricking the corners of his big eyes.
"Now don't say that. It might actually happen." The monk chuckled to himself, "Of course, Dojo, sorry." The monk spotted the other Xiaolin warrior, Chase gracefully running along the wall's top until he came to a sliding stop. The freezing rain ignored in favor of looking out to the land, it's as if he were searching for something.
"CHASE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Guan called out, hoping his voice carried over the roaring rain. The said man held a hand out towards Guan, silencing the hulking monk. Both Dojo and Guan watched with curiosity within their eyes, the dragon muttered something that the human hadn't caught. Sound of rain had been the only thing, water smacking against the porch roof and draining to ground below. Guan and Dojo jumped in surprise upon hearing a thunderous roar, Chase Young being the first to move, jumping over the wall and disappearing behind it. "Wait, Chase!"
"We better help him but I'm going to stay right here and stay dry." Dojo pulled a book out of nowhere, face purposely buried within its pages, briefly peeking out and hiding. The pouring rain was no match for Monk Guan as he sped through the falling liquid to catch up Chase.
---
Chase followed a fast moving figure, growls and roars scaring anything and anyone nearby. Metallic paws thudding heavily against the soft ground, leaving prints in its wake. Rocks and branches snapping or cracking under weight, the creature's flesh tinged with pelting rain. Whatever it was it, the thing was much faster then the monk- Even the trees weren't helping.
Chase Young easily sliced through a tree with one swipe of his hand, sending the chopped log flying through the air with a kick. The wood landed ahead of the creature, blocking the path before it. A frown tugged upon Chase's lips upon witnessing the mystery animal slowed but still avoided the blockade. The man followed it outside the forest, they made it to a nearby dirt road. A set of horses freaked out over the sudden outburst, the panicked animals sped off, violently tugging a vegetable cart behind them. The creature had stopped to let out a mechanical roar, anger present within those glass eyes. The dark clouds parted to allow more light through but the rain still hadn't let up[2].
Chase's own golden orbs widen, a lone figure laid upon the mechanical creature's back. They don't appear to be conscious, no movement except for the small wiggles of the animal they laid upon. A much taller and broader figure landed next to Chase Young, spear at the ready.
"Crouching Cougar! How's it here?! I thought Master Dashi and Dojo hid them all!" Guan spoke with such concern mixed with confusion,
"I had thought the same." Chase respond, ready to strike at any moment. "Clearly someone didn't understand the assignment." Both men looked to each other with a smile,
"Dojo." They both said with a snicker but the cougar hadn't found that to funny. A metal paw raised, claws seemingly having manifested from nothing. The Shen Gon Wu had been either ready to fight or flee once more, whatever was about to happen- Chase was ready!
"Guan," The said monk perked up, hearing his name being called. "There's a rider but their not in control." Chase mentioned about the mysterious person he spotted, Guan shouldn't be surprised but the driver not in control? Now that was something new.
"Watch out!" Monk Guan yelled out, Chase heeded his friend's warning. The black haired monk swiftly and quickly dodged a pouncing razor attack from the panther, the vehicle now aggressively stood where Chase once did, sending a glare in the human's direction. Before it could strike, Monk Guan had been quick to slip his spear between the metal bars making up it's leg- Keeping the creature tethered to the land. An annoyed growl slipped from a bronze muzzle, a few tugs in an attempt to dislodge it's makeshift shackle. "Woah! That was close!" Guan had dodged a swiping paw, nearly having flesh torn if he reacted a little slower. "Hurry! I don't know if I can keep it here for much longer!" The bald monk had a tight grip upon his spear as his other hand held a deadly paw at bay, his foot sliding back a few inches from the cougar's strength.
Chase didn't need another warning, he was quick to climb into the cougar's cockpit. The controls hidden beneath the driver's body, Chase would have to move them just to get access. Their body felt cold against his warm hands, long white fabric wetly clung to the person's figure, revealing a malnourished form. He thought they were possibly dead but slow shallow expanding of ribs told otherwise. Wet clothing added extra weight but that hadn't detered the man, careful to move the nearly dead body.
Gaun shielded his eyes from the steering light, the Shen Gon Wu would give one final roar as it's body shrunk and curled in on itself. The monk rubbed at his eyes, blinking the spots away. The one time Guan had his eyes fully open and almost became blind, such a stupid decision on his part.
"I hope it hadn't caused to much damage while it was running about." Monk Guan looked to his partner who held the Shen Gon Wu in one hand and the other holding a body close- More leaning that is.
"We must head back. Our new friend here," Chase nodded his head to the stranger, "needs some attention."
"Here, let me." The bald monk helped Chase get rid of the extra weight, having slung the boney figure over Guan's broad shoulder. "I'll seek help, due what you must with the Wu." Chase nodded with a 'Thanks'.

Chase Young waited for his master to return before handing over the Crouching Cougar, Grand Master Dashi had given the young monk a curious look; Both to the Wu and Chase. The raven haired monk also mentioned about the Sheng Gon Wu's rider, Grand Master Dashi acknowledge this, suggesting maybe he should make a quick visit to their guest and maybe ask a few questions. Chase would leave as Dashi called for Dojo, the dragon freezing up upon the sight of Crouching Cougar held within Dashi's hands.
Speaking of guests, Chase would ask a few elder monks where the stranger had been kept. He would discover they were sleeping in a newly constructed room, one that had recently been finished. Guan kneeled beside the sleeping figure, the village doctor finishing packing up.
"I'll be back," The doctor said, "I'm going to need to fetch a few more things. While I'm gone, keep her temperature regulated." Guan nodded in understanding,
"Thank you for your help." Chased walked passed the doctor as the short one left, Chase stood before his friend and the stranger.
Her? The village physician mention this person being a woman.
"He mentioned she might not make it." Guan finally spoke to the man standing, using the now cold rag to clean whatever dirt covered the woman's face, a brow raised upon the ravenette's face. "Too weak. Starving and exposed to the harsh elements." Chase's golden orbs soften, placing a hand upon a broad shoulder.
"Now don't look so down, Guan. She'll pull through, we have the best people around." The said man seemed to smile just a small bit, of course Chase would say that and Guan believed his friend.
[1]-Indents don't show. [2]-I love those days when it's sunny but also raining. So nice. So comforting.
