A Special Shell ? ?? - Riddle + Floyd

Last period of the day, potionology class.

"Jade, can you pass me the next ingredient?" I asked my current lab partner.

"Of course." He replied, passing over the herb we'd picked from the garden.

Tossing in the herb and mixing it into the cauldron made small sparks of blue rise from the pot, turning it into a nice lavender color.

"Is it done yeeeeet~~???" Someone who should NOT be in this class asked.

"Mm, I'd say so. It matches the color we're looking for." The other twin examined the potion.

A crack of a whip brought all eyes shooting to the front of the class where a stylish man stood.

"Alright, pups! Times up, store you're mixtures and clean up. I'll come around and assess you right before the bell. Am I clear!?"
Crewel said sternly.

"Yes, sir!" Students replied. Some lazy, some strong.

Turning back to the task at hand, I begin tidying up. I can't help but feel bothered by Floyd's stare, which he's been doing for the past week.

It's just SO FRUSTRATING!!

He comes into classes that aren't his, but at this point, regardless of who scolds him, it doesn't matter cause he always gets good passing marks anyway, so it's not like I can shoo him away anymore.

And I'm just about ALWAYS paired with Jade lately, so he's always around.

On top of him being around me in my classes just about every day, he comes to bother me in the garden, the library basically anywhere he can find me besides my room!

Usually, it annoys me, him pestering me, playing tricks, and all the other annoying things he does, but lately, he's just been... quietly pestering me? He's been staring at me like he has something to say but never says it, and when I go to meet his gaze, he TURNS AROUND! Like what does he want! It's been a week of this, and it's getting on my nerves more than his usual behavior!

Hmph! I'll figure it out after this class, I don't wanna cause any inconvenience for all the others around us.

*the bell rings, class dismissed*

Students flood into the hallway from their last classes. As I start to leave-

"Rosehearts!"

I snapped around to see Crewel.

"Yes?" I ask, unsure of what he needs.

"Can you stay a bit, I'd like you to run some errands with me." He asks.

I look to Floyd leaving the classroom by Jades side... I really need to ask what's up with him... but my role as dorm leader and my pride as a student tells me... arg! I'll solve that later.

"Yes, sir, what do you need help with?"

After all that running around with papers, I need to sit. Going to the courtyard, I sit on the bench under the tree for a breather.

"Hey goldfishiee~~~"

"AAH!" Jumping out of my skin, I turn to see a toothy smile on a slimy eels face.

"DONT WHISPER IN MY EAR LIKE THAT!!!" Holding my left ear, I shouted, I could feel my face burn from... rage!

"Eheh, I thought it was kinda cute.~"
Floyd replied, clearly not caring for my scolding.

Take a deep breath, it's fine, just ask what you need to. I stood up, turned to face him, and began with a deep breath.
