7,000,000 years long history of mankind is coming to an end.

Was the Cause a nuclear warfare? Asteroid Collision? Or maybe Alien invasion?

No.

Right now, mankind is being threatened to its total destruction by none other than the will of its own creators, the "Gods".

Two Demigods slowly approached the Council, the smaller one cowering in fear. A heavy silence descended as they drew near, an ominous energy in the air as if something dark and dangerous was about to unfold.

"It's about to start, big sis" she whispered in a panic voice.

That taller one simply glared down, her lips set into a deep scowl as she eyed the gods with an unmistakable look of resentment.

She noticed an eerily familiar old figure taking his time up the steps to a massive chair at the center of the council room, a great dragon coiled around it like some ancient sentinel.

"Heave ho..." he said as he slowly took his steps, holding tightly to his cane.

Once he settle down onto the large seat, the dragon let out a small growl, and the old man patted its nose, "ohoho! Come here cutie~"

He clutched his miniature gavel and held it loftily above the block, his hands trembling from old age. "Well then everyone," he started "it's been 1000 years since the last time we gathered here. Let us start the conference, shall we?" Said old man was none other than Zeus, the chairman of the Council and Godfather of the universe.

Every 1000 years, the gods across realms gather to hold a conference. The conference of mankind's survival. The Council of Valhalla, it's what it is called.

You slipped into one of the pillars, obscuring yourself with your hood in order to remain unseen. You didn't want to be here, yet an instinctive urge had brought you here. Every deity from ancient texts that you read from the archives were gathered there, ready to decide the fate of humanity...

"Now then, let me ask" began Zeus, "regarding the survival of mankind for the next 1000 years,"

He rose a small paddle with an O, "Should we forgive them? Or..." he rose another paddle but with an X, "Should we just put an end to them?"

He rose them up high to show them to the gods,"show me the will of the gods."

The Gods could be heard bickering among themselves, all debating the fate of mankind with disdain. They expressed anger and contempt for humanity, their cold words seeming to cast judgement on those on Earth. It was a bitter conversation, one filled with hate and loathing for the human race.

"Yup! Heeeere!" Two muscular, purpled hands rose to the sky bearing two paddles with a bright X marked on them, catching your attention.

It was Shiva, The Hindu god of destruction and creation, who was laying down on a large floating pillow while holding the two paddles.

He had a coy smile, "Let's just give them the doomsday already, alright?" He yawned, "from what I've seen for the past 1000 years... Mankind doesn't seem to have any intention to repent at all. Trying to guide them is such a pain in the ass," he grunted.

The other gods gazed at Shiva with surprise and admiration, for his courage to speak his truth. It was clear they could relate to Shiva's words, and soon a silent agreement formed between them.

"Once we get rid of them, why don't we just evolve some other animal," he said casually.

"True," a feminine voice spoke, "it's just as Shiva said. In the last 1000 years Earth has become too ugly" it was none other than the goddess of Beauty, Aphrodite. She rested on top of three muscular boulder-like men, "Seas are filled with wastes and oils. Forests are gone and living beings have become extinct one after another."
