—Next day,Diluc—
I groan,the sunlight hitting my face through the curtains.I slowly open my eyes,looking around.I lift my head and I look next to me and my heart melts.My beautiful Y/n is peacefully sleeping on her side,strands of her silky hair are covering parts of her face so I slowly move my hand to brush them out of the way.

She is so beautiful.I can't believe I finally have her back after all this time.My beautiful.We had a long talk last night and I found out everything that happened.How she was the queen of the Abyss and had to wait for someone to come take the place.

How she was waiting to see me again every single day.I missed her so much.I'm a completely different person with her..it's so much better with her here.I love her so much.

She slowly moves,opening her eyes.Her sleepy eyes look at me and she smiles."Good morning" she says,crawling at me."Good morning my dear" I say and she smiles,resting her head and a hand on my chest comfortably.I wrap an arm around her waist,softly placing a kiss on her head.

Y/n snuggles in closer to me and I can't help but smile like an idiot.I missed her so much.."Diluc I have something to ask you" she says and I look down at her."How is Kaeya?" She asks and I stop for a second.Kaeya.."He's good" I say and she looks down."You two are still..like that?" She asks and I nod.

"I'm sorry" she says,looking into my eyes."No need to apologize love.It's all good.I don't know if me and Kaeya will ever be in good terms again.After what happened..I don't know.He is very often at the tavern getting drunk with his drinking buddies and he tries to approach me but I just can't.I can't get over what happened" I say and she nods,listening to my words.

   "It's understandable that you feel like this.You kept all of these feelings inside you for years.I know it's very difficult but you are not alone anymore.I'm here now.." she says,her voice soft and comforting."It's getting late..I have to get up and go take care of everything" I say and she slightly pouts.

"Can't you stay here with me?" She asks with a smile."Unfortunately no..but how about you come with me?" I say and she nods."I'd love that" she says and we both get up from the bed.

—Time skip,Y/n—
Me and Diluc just finished our morning routines,we had some breakfast and now we are ready to go.I don't know what plans Diluc has for the day but I'll just accompany him all day in case he needs help with something.

I'm so happy to be back here.I missed him so much.We intertwine our fingers as we walk towards the backyard."Diluc?" I call his name and he hums."For how long have I been away?" I ask and he looks at me."Five years" he says,looking down at the ground.What?! Five years??

  "Five..years? But..how is that possible? I remember being in the Abyss for some months not years.." I say,looking at the ground.I feel Diluc's gloved hands on my cheeks making me look up at him."Time in the Abyss goes faster than time here.You missed five of your birthdays and you are 22 now" he says with a smile.

"It's so confusing..they didn't tell me about this.I'm sorry i'm so sorry" I say and he sighs."No need to apologize love.It was not your fault.I'm glad you are back here and you are safe.I promise you no one will separate us anymore" he says,holding my face in his gloved hands.

I nod and he smiles at me,planting a kiss on my forehead."Let's go now dear.I have some things to take care of" he says and I nod.We intertwine our fingers again and we continue our walk in the backyard where I notice three men picking grapes.They turn their head at us and they bow.

"Good morning Master Diluc" one of them says and Diluc nods."Morning.How are things going?" Diluc asks.Oh wow that tone is very different.He sounds so cold."Everything is alright Master Diluc.We are almost done with the grapes" the man continues and Diluc nods.After that,we walk at the entrance of the Dawn Winery where I notice another man.

  "Ah good morning Master Diluc! How are you?" He asks."Good morning Ernest.I'm good thanks.Is the order ready for delivery?" He asks and Ernest nods."Yes almost.We have just a few bottles left and we will send them to the tavern" he says and Diluc nods."Good.We'll get going to Mondstadt make sure the bottles get there safely" he says and Ernest nods."Yes of course Master Diluc" he says and without other words,we start walking towards Mondstadt.

I'm sure everyone is confused with my presence because I wasn't here two days ago but I guess Diluc will tell them when he feels like doing so.Adeline the house maid knows me but the other people I don't think so.Maybe Adeline will tell them? It's weird for everyone to stare at me.

  "Is something bothering you dear?" Diluc suddenly asks."Oh no.Not at all why?" I ask and he shrugs."You have been very quiet since our conversation earlier" he says."Oh I'm sorry I'm just still confused with the whole situation I can't believe I've been away for such a long time" I say and he nods."But I'm very glad I'm here now with you.I missed you so much" I say and Diluc smiles at me.

"I missed you too love.So much" he says,lifting my hand up and kissing my knuckles.This reminds me of them...I wonder if Diluc knows them.Probably.

We both fall silent again,walking peacefully.It's not an uncomfortable silence.It's somehow comforting.It's very sunny and nice outside,just perfect for our walk to Mondstadt.We are almost there anyway.

I'm still thinking about them.What if they will send someone to search for me? I highly doubt that.I mean,I guess many people try to get the job as their assistants why would they need me? Plus,I'm sure Diluc won't let that happen..not again at least.

I look at his side profile for some seconds,observing his beautiful features.Diluc moves his head at me and smiles."Is everything alright?" He asks me again and I nod."Yeah.You're beautiful" I say and he looks in my eyes."I should be saying that to you" he says and I laugh."It doesn't matter" I say,gently squeezing his hand.I love him..so much.
