The Alex Walker Files: A New Chapter

Today was the big day. The wedding. James had still been acting strange but today,nothing could ruin my happiness.
The dress was gorgeous and fit perfectly and the decoration were fantastic. The long,nervous walk down the aisle and the vows were a blur. All I know is that there were gigantic butterflies in my stomach and a big,stupid smile on my face all day.
The reception was loud and cramped;everyone we had ever met showed up. The music was blaring and cake was being eaten. Everything was wonderful. Then it all went wrong.
After our first dance(which once again is just a big blur) , I sneaked off to use the bathroom. On my way back to the party,I felt the familiar tingly sensation of a gun being pointed at my back and a rough hand gulped over my mouth. Under normal circumstances I would have been able to take out the 5 gruff looking men around me in two minutes flat. But this time I was wearing a 20 pound dress and there was no way for me to break free.
Baldy smiled at me wickedly and ordered them to drag me out. I kicked and screamed but it was useless. They dragged me out to the loud ceremony and the music suddenly came to a stop and everyone was staring at me in awe.
"Sorry to interrupt the party," Baldy said. "But I'm afraid there has been a change in plans."
James and just about everyone in the room pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
"Let her go, Otto." James exclaimed.
Apparently James had forgotten what he had said about no guns.
"Let her go." He repeated.
"I am afraid I cannot do that,Ross. You see,I need her. Take her to the car boys;we are leaving." Otto commanded.
"Take one more step and I will blow your brains out."
"Oh did I forget to tell you? If anyone fires a weapon I will push this button and this whole building and everyone in it will be blown to bits. And all of you have snipers pointed at your chests so if you move before I leave,well you get the idea."
"You won't get away with this."
"But I already have."
The men holding me dragged me out but I wasn't going without a fight. I managed to pull myself free and ran back towards the building and cried out for James. Right as I got to the door,something hit me in the back and the world seemed to slow down. The last thing I heard was James yelling.
"Lexie!! Lexie no. Please let her go take me instead!!"
I tried to call out to him but I was too weak. Then,the world went black.
